The room was clean and comfortable with a microwave, refrigerator, some dishes, and plenty of space. It isn’t fancy, but was a nice place to stay a couple of nights in the Waitomo area.

It was definitely a unique stay. Just keep in mind that the deeper in the ship you go, the colder it gets. However, the duvet and blankets they provide are plenty warm, and there are extra heaters provided, plus some electric blankets I think. People complained about the diesel smell, while present, ...

Everything we were hoping for. Friendly welcome, clean and had everything we needed. A 2 minute drive to Waitomo Village for very tasty dinner at the pub. Able to live out our Hobbit fantasy with amazing room and imaginative art work. Would definitely do it again. Completely unique experience.
