We had a wonderful three-night stay at Landhotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We also enjoyed several amazing dinners with delicious food and excellent service. We were so pleased with our experience that we have already booked our stay again for next year! Highly recommended.
This is a beautiful hotel very tastefully decorated. It offers spacious rooms with lots of storage, very comfortable beds, and a great shower. The restaurant is top notch with excellent quality food. The included breakfast buffet was the best included breakfast meal I have ever had. It had so many choices and everything was quality and well prepared. If you are looking for a quiet, upscale accommodation, this is it.
We stayed many places between $200-500/night range throughout Iceland and this was by far the nicest. It is far from town (good thing for some ppl, bad for others maybe). The whole hotel even smelled lovely. Large rooms, it was warm at first but they provided a fan we placed by the window and it cooled off nicely. Firm but extremely comfortable bed, perfect soft pillows and nice duvet. The breakfast was also maybe the best hotel breakfast we had in Iceland. One of the few places I would stay again out of 10 hotels we used!! I only wish they would not charge for the hot tub (which appeared quite small)
Really great hotel, perfect spot to see the Aurora. A little out of the way and not close to any restaurants but that’s what makes it a good spot for the Aurora because of a lack of light pollution. The hotel restaurant is good.
Great breakfast options. Very comfortable hotel with lovely views. Great if you want to see Northern Lights. Only negative is that the rooms got very hot at nights.
