Beautiful old and historic hotel right in old town square. Directions to the building need to be more concise and parking needs to be explained more carefully since there is none. Great breakfast!!!!!

Didn’t get to use the amenities but the rooms were cute and traditional. Awesome breakfast and super helpful staff!

The Tirolerhof has a beautiful exterior and a charming traditional Alpine style. Its location is convenient and very close to the lake. The service was excellent, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Our bedroom was a good size, although the bathroom felt a little small. The showerhead and water pressure were great. However, the towels and bed linens could be better, and the hotel would benefit from a few updated amenities. There was no air conditioning, the Wi-Fi was weak, and the television was not a smart TV. We also found Zell am See itself a little quiet for our taste. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with wonderful service, but a few improvements would make it more comfortable.

A very mixed experience. The food was amazing with really fresh ingredients and good variety each day. However, we were really disappointed with the quality of the room. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the towels were cheap and nasty, the toiletries in the room were basic (eg rough toilet paper, no conditioner etc), the room was tiny, there was no fan in the bathroom, we had a shower over the bath (not like the photos), the gym didn’t open until 9am so we couldn’t do our workout before breakfast which we normally like to do, they don’t give you tap water at the restaurant at dinner time ( we had to go back to our room to fill our bottles in the bathroom sink!). Ultimately the staff were friendly, the facilities were ok (the outdoor pool actually has a stunning setting), but I’m genuinely amazed how the rating was so high on hotels.com as it had so many very average features.
