We had a group of 8 and it was nice to be able to sit at the same table to eat together. However, the hot water was definitely not able to keep up even though we tried to stagger shower times. The biggest con is that although the house seems to be in a decent area, there is consistent traffic noise, especially at night. As it is an older house, it just doesn't block out the noise of engines revving at 2am. We enjoyed the stay, and for the price the house was decent, but I wouldn't stay there again. ##### Mike R. The beds were amazing, very comfortable. The room with 4 queen beds was a bit strange for adult women who like their space but we managed. The kitchen was not well stocked for cooking. Only one mixing bowl, no extra salad or large bowls or casserole dishes. There were only 8 forks so we had to buy plastic. It could use a restock of basic essentials. Would have loved a blender too, just because we like frozen cocktails. One whole room was a giant desk which for our group was wasted space. There were no outdoor furnishings available. If we had known that, we could have brought camp chairs so we could sit outside.The location was great - very convenient to downtown Raleigh and several great restaurants.Owner was very nice when we accidentally locked ourselves out!
