The interior of the house features an antique pinball machine, an arcade, and a movie room complete with an 85-inch TV. The outdoor space of the property is a true oasis inspired by the Raleigh Arboretum. The beautifully landscaped backyard features a luxurious fire pit, mini-golf, bocci ball court, corn hole, horseshoe, croquet, and more. And when you're ready to wind down, relax on the large deck overlooking this incredible space. Located in the heart of Raleigh, this property is close to everything the city has to offer. Entry by smart lock code Located in established Brentwood community conveniently located right in the middle of Downtown Raleigh, North Raleigh, and Wake Forest. House Rules: If you do decide to stay at our lovely home, we do charge the following fees separately after you book: 1) Refundable Security Deposit - $500\. We recommend paying this with a credit card since it will only be a hold placed on your card during your reservation. If you pay with a debit card or direct ACH transfer, the money will be withdrawn from your account 3 days before check-in and refunded 3 days afterwards upon successful inspection of the premises. 2) Dogs - $100/dog per reservation. We allow up to three dogs per reservation to be paid after booking. Please note this is not reflected in your reservation price and is an additional charge. 3) We also require all of our guests to upload a photo ID to their pre-check-in portal to confirm their identity before we will give access to the property. You will also be asked to sign our rental agreement through the pre-check-in link after booking. You will not receive your entry code until this is signed and all pre-check-in steps completed. If you use any of the outdoor games, please rehang them in their proper place on the game wall before you leave. Note, the electric blower is for your use to clear off the courts. If you are bringing any dogs, they must be listed on your booking and you are responsible for any dropping left in the yard. We do provide doggie bags that you may use and discard in the outside trash bin on the side of the house. DO NOT PLACE INSIDE THE HOUSE PLEASE. Early arrival or late departure is on a case by case basis, depending on the cleaners schedule. You can book this and additional add-on services through the pre-checkin link provided after booking. Absolutely NO loud music, excessive noise, offensive behavior, illegal firearms or weapons, illegal substances including narcotics, drug paraphernalia, fireworks, sparklers, or incendiary devices, and illegal activities. Please note that this is a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood. Kindly keep any music at a reasonable level and be respectful of our neighbors who are there to enjoy the tranquility of the surrounding nature. Any reports of excess noise could result in guests being asked to leave. Security cameras are installed (legally) over the driveway and entry; apart from security they help us keep an eye on the weather. For insurance purposes, it's important that the number of guests match the booking. Overnight guests not listed at the time of booking are strictly prohibited by VRBO. If at any time you are expecting additional guests, please let us know prior. You are also responsible for any visitors that enter the property. While this is a family friendly home, it is not child proof. If you have any children with you during your stay, please mind them at all times. Please respect the home as if it were your own and leave it as you find it. For makeup removal, please USE BLACK towels provided. Report any issues, damages and breakages immediately. Smoking of any kind (includes vaping) is strictly prohibited in the home; if smoking outside, please pick up and dispose of all remnants. Gas grill is for your use - please make sure the gas is turned off and the grill cleaned before you leave. Please only use candles in case of a power outage, and make sure they're attended. Finally, please pay extra special attention to the pinball machine as it is very old and not for rough use. We had a heating issue when we first got here. We were able to talk to the hosts and they were on it. They are excellent hosts and we stayed warm. We got to enjoy some snow too. The house is very nice and it has a nice big backyard which is great for kids and dogs. Very dog friendly, has a nice dog bed, bowls and a toy. We were there for my father's 90th birthday. I grew up in Raleigh and it's always nice to come back for visits. I would definitely recommend this house and would rent it again. The hosts are awesome. Located in a family-type neighborhood. The owner did a fantastic job with all the furnishings and special touches - especially the BEDS! The mattresses were amazing - in fact, I would love to know what kind they were! We took four grandkids an hour from home for a short getaway to do some activities because we live in a rural area, and we were close to water activities, arcades, mini golf, go-karts, and good restaurants. They did such a great job of making sure my family and myself were taking care of. Previous renters had done a little bit of damage to towels and pillows, within an hour, we had all brand new pillows and full Set up for towels at the front door. Plus anytime I texted him. He got right back to us, cannot thank him enough for making this an amazing experience to celebrate my oldest son‘s 40th birthday. Thanks again, good night I’ve had to turn out better. ##### Don L. There was a crack in the front door you could see through. Not sure the purpose of a lock since you could have just pushed the front door open. None of the knifes were sharp enough to cut butter. The advertised “game room” had a broken foosball table. The entire front of the house was lined with an army of garbage cans… at least 6\. The back deck was nice except for the 2 foot drop on the first step where multiple people fell. The games out back were nice. The TV’s worked well. It could be a decent rental if the owners put some work into it. ##### Matt B. The house is clean, had plenty of kitchen supplies (spices, coffee, dishes, silverware), and is comfortably laid out.We didn't do a ton of local exploring, but it seems like a good location to get to activities, and it was just 20ish minutes from the RDU airport. ##### Emily G.
