You’ll be within walking distance to lots of dining options, about 1.5 miles away from Raleigh’s city parks, extensive museums, live shows, and sports games. When your adventurous days come to a close, unwind in the comfort of the modern living room — featuring a Smart TV and a laptop-friendly workspace — and prepare your favorite meals in the eat-in kitchen. This is unit 1B. Acorn Manor was built in 1925 and was split into 4 private apartments over 70 years ago. It was recently renovated with new kitchens and bathrooms and has modern furniture. Each place has it's own private entrance from the back of the property with 1 dedicated parking space. This is unit 1B. There is a shared washer and dryer in the basement that can be accessed from the stairwell that goes up to 2B. If there's anything you need during your stay, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via VRBO app. We will check it often during your stay. Acorn Manor is located in the Glenwood-Brooklyn Historic District. We are .5 miles from Glenwood South and .5 miles away from Five Points. Parking is in the rear of the property down an unpaved alley via Cole St. There is one parking spot per unit. Any additional cars must park on Cole St You get to this unit (1B) from the back of the house where the parking lot is. Please note that the windows and flooring are original, please use extreme care. Absolutely no smoking or parties on the premises. Since covid, hotels are poorly staffed and service is just not up to standards. This was our first VRBO. it was a flawless transaction. As stated it was clean and had everything you needed. The only thing we found odd…there was a door to the outside in the living room, the kitchen and the extra bedroom. If you have small children sleeping in the 2nd bedroom, it way be a worry. A few suggestions….add more seating in the living room and maybe a bench at the end of the bed for suitcases. The unit was easy to find(even for DoorDash) and parking easily accessible and well marked. There are plenty outlets for devices and while it was very hot outside the temperature in the unit stayed constant. We were very comfortable.
