What a wonderful place!
Felt like we were at home. Mama was so welcoming and catering to our needs. The house was absolutely lovely! Great feel. We even got blessed with some freshly harvested grapes, pastries, and a bottle of wine! Just perfect!

Great location and perfect for our days at the lakes.

Beautiful stay
Beautiful location and clean and cozy little house. We were greeted when we arrived and given a short tour and got to settle in. Very close to the national park and many restaurants and shopping close by. Perfect place for our stay.

Beautiful and spotless
This is a beautiful little home tucked away down a quaint country lane. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Two spacious bedrooms upstairs and it’s well equipped. Unfortunately the drought has caused water rationing throughout the region (not just this home, the whole area). but we didn’t know the hours. Be sure to ask. After figuring out the timeline it was easy to plan accordingly.

It’s Smoke House in Google Maps but D.I.M. To the mother of the owner. A very modern, impecibly clean 2bd 1ba (downstairs). Use of momma’s laundry facility was a lifesaver after 10 days and running out of clean clothes. Be patient finding it. Look for the brightly lit bycycle. Close to both entrances to the park. Buy tickets early to the park in the summer or weekends or you’ll spend the day sitting under a shade tree. Study park maps carefully. Three trials ending at three tram stations higher and higher. The trams were a lifesaver after 5 miles.

Perfect Family get away close to Plitvice National Park
What a wonderful place to stay!!! The host are amazing, warm and friendly!!! Spent an hour helping us get our luggage that had been lost by the airport!!! They had a wonderful bottle of wine on arrival!! The house was perfect for Our 2 teenage sons and my husband and I, very very close to the park, we enjoyed it there so much we picked up something and just made dinner at the house that night and felt like we had made friends even with the language barrier!!! Loved it❤️❤️

Amazing home!
DIM Holiday House is amazing! For a small home it is incredibly spacious. There are so many thoughtful and helpful details, including the heater in the bathroom, an awesome shower, lots of electrical outlets, and an automatic light for the stairs. The house is furnished with lovely, comfortable furniture and the kitchen is well equipped. We loved the outdoor space and the lovely yard. Check-in/out was easy and pleasant. We would love to visit again and highly recommend it!

The best place to stay
What a lovely little house this is! We were greeted so warmly and had a bottle of their own water and a bottle of cold water waiting for us. A well tended garden and spotlessly clean house. Very close to Plitvice Park which is why we were visiting. To top it off our gracious greeters gave us a jar of homemade cherry jam when we left. I love this place!

Lovely one bedroom home with garden
My husband and I loved our stay in this rural community near Plitvice Lakes. The owners helped us to plan our visit in advance by recommending that we buy our Plitivice tickets on line and also suggested other sites in the area, including nearby restaurants. The two story house is supplied with coffee, kitchen basics and included a gift of a bottle of wine made on property. One thing to note is that the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs, making it a bit of a challenge for night time restroom visits. We are happy we stayed at DIM Holiday House!

Great House ! Great Plitvice Lakes ! Great Hosts !
-We had a memorable stay at D.I.M House. I visited with my wife and my son we stayed for 3 days. D.I.M House and Plitvice lakes is a great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature. It’s a MUST SEE. -We were greeted by Maja’s parents Milan and Jospika and of course their dog Aaron who live right next door. -Their warm welcome made us feel at home right away. -They greeted us with a bottle of home made wine, Honey and Croatian brandy “Slivovice”. They are incredibly generous people. -They invited us over to their patio and shared their family pictures. We felt like we were long lost relatives. They brought out their home made hams “Prosciutto” & “Speck” and also cheeses. Also home made “Jams” I can’t remember what else there was so much. They were so generous It was amazing. -The wood fire place was a nice treat. When we arrived it was a little cool and rainy. The Wood stove made the place feel very cozy. -They let us use their bikes to go on a bike ride. My son and I went on a nice ride along the country roads. -The Plitvice Lakes are a “MUST SEE” we visited both Entrance 1 & 2. Entrance 1 has the big waterfall which is nice to see but Entrance 2 has many more falls it was my favorite. It’s really BREATH TAKING. You really need 2 days to see it and enjoy the falls without rushing through the park. If you only have 1 day I would recommend Entrance 2. -We had dinner at a near by restaurant they recommended called “Restoran Degenija” the service and food was amazing. Milan and Jospika you are the best hosts. Thank you for everything. I hope we can visit you again someday soon. We would definitely recommend your house to our friends and family. Prachtige woning in een mooie omgeving.
Het was nu de tweede keer dat we hier in dit vakantiehuis zijn geweest en hebben het wederom goed naar onze zin gehad. Het is een hele mooie nette woning met een grote tuin in een prachtige omgeving. De gastvrouw en gastheer zijn hele lieve mensen die alles prima verzorgen.

Very clean. convenient location. Hosts were wonderful, helpful people. Unfortunately, the weather prevented us from using the bikes that are available for use as well. we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place to enjoy Plitvice. Wish we had stayed longer!
The setting was beautiful and the house was built with such attention to detail. The kitchen has everything you need so enjoyed cooking our meals in. The best part is the owners parents live next door and were there to greet us and make us feel at home through our entire stay. A wonderful place for a coupl or family.

Don't pass this one up!
The property was beautiful! The home was clean and newly renovated but still had all the charm of a country weekend house. Location was great, we spent one day hiking the parks and another exploring a few of the smaller villages that are close by. Local restaurants were very good, and a bottle of wine on the porch to top off the day made it the perfect getaway home. The hosts were helpful and polite the whole way through, this one is a gem! A great escape from the the city!

The house had every facility we wanted and was super clean. Very relaxing to return to after the crowds at Plitvice Lakes. The owner was helpful and communicative when we were late to arrive. The housekeeper next door was wonderful and made sure we had everything we needed.

Heerlijk groot huis en tuin
Warme ontvangst, heerlijke grote tuin, groot huis. Rustige ligging, dichtbij supermarkt en de Plitvice meren. Fijn dat er airco is boven al koelt het 's nachts wel af. Overal horren. Badkamer is prima, alleen jammer toilet en douche in dezelfde ruimte. Supergrill buiten! Lekkere stoelen en spelmogelijkheden. Heerlijk overdekt terras om te eten. Apparatuur is wat verouderd: vaatwasser en Playstation defect, koffiezetapparaat doet het niet goed (ontkalken?), koelkast kan niet op volle toeren anders maakt hij constant lawaai. We misten een lage tafel bij de bank om je drankje op te zetten en barbecue-gereedschap. Slaapkamers kunnen misschien beter omgedraaid worden want de kinderslaapkamer heeft geen deur en die horen alle kleine geluidjes van beneden. De ouderslaapkamer heeft wel een deur.

Idyllic, clean and conveniently located
The house is located in a beautiful, lush garden surrounded by nature. The spacious patio is a great place to sit and enjoy a cool drink after you visited the nearby Plitvic lakes. Everything was spotless clean and we found everything we need. There even was a fire burning in the fireplace when we arrived, so the welcome was not only warm because of the nice hosts. :-)

Nette Tage in absoluter Ruhe
Wir verbrachten vier schöne Tage in diesem Häuschen. Majas Mutter empfing uns an einem etwas kühlen Abend im späten September mit Hilfe eines leicht zu bedienenden Holzofens in einer wohlig warmen Unterkunft. Das gesamte Haus war blitzsauber. Zum Empfang hatte sie außerdem einen großen Teller leckeren Obstes für uns vorbereitet. Im Haus ist wirklich alles nötige vorhanden, von Küchenutensilien bis zu Verbrauchsmaterialien wie Gewürzen und Olivenöl. Die verschiedenen Sorten an Teebeutel habe ich besonders genossen. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich die Schlafgelegenheiten; davon ein Doppelbett in einem sehr schön gelegenen großen Zimmer; die beiden Einzelbetten auf der Galerie, die geschützt durch große Jalousien offen zur Treppe hin liegen. An die Hellhörigkeit des Hauses besonders im oberen Stockwerk mussten wir uns erst gewöhnen; wir haben aber aufgrund der hervorragenden Matratzen und der absoluten Ruhe in der Umgebung trotzdem gut geschlafen. Der Garten ist ein Traum; wir konnten einige schöne Sonnenstunden hier verbringen. In der näheren Umgebung war besonders der Ort Slunj für uns eine Überraschung. Am Zusammenfluss der Slunjcica mit der Korana befinden sich unzählige Wasserfälle und auf einer kleinen Inselgruppe, die zwar Eintritt kostet, von denen sich aber jede Kuna/Euro lohnt, ein im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes `Feenparadies´, das Groß und Klein bezaubert.

Traumhafte liebevoll eingerichte Unterkunft mit Abendteuergarten und Fledermaushöhle
Wir wurden herzlich von der Gastgeberin empfangen. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem praktisch, technisch modern sowie liebevoll traditionell und sauber eingerichtet. Die Kinder durften gemeinsam mit der im Nachbarhaus lebenden Wirtin Gemüse ernten und Suppe kochen. Falls es der Sprache bedurfte hat der Google Übersetzer geholfen. Der Garten bietet viele Sitzmöglichkeiten in der Sonne und im Schatten und Spielmöglichkeiten für große und kleinere Kinder. Die Ruhe wird nur von Zikaden unterbrochen. Waschmöglichkeiten im Extragebäude runden das Angebot ab. Im Schlafzimmer fehlt noch ein Fliegengitter. Die Klimaanlage ist erwähnenswert effizient. Wir waren sehr glücklich.

Le meilleur logement près des lacs de Plitvice
Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans ce logement. Nous avons formidablement bien été accueillis par les parents des propriétaires qui logent dans un chalet juste à côté. Plein de délicates intentions : du vin et confitures faites maisons offerts, fleurs fraîches. Ils nous ont accueillis comme si des amis venaient leur rendre visite . Dommage que nous ne parlions pas la langue croate ! La maison est très bien aménagée , tout est récent et au goût du jour. Même des prises usb à la tête des lits ! Le jardin est très grand et magnifique, de loin le plus beau que nous ayons pu voir près des lacs. Et le tout à 5 min de l’entrée des lacs ! Merci!

Un havre de paix à seulement quelques kms de Plivitce
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ou l’accueil des propriétaires est chaleureux La maison propose tous les équipements utiles, elle est agréable et fonctionnelle. Le jardin est très grand et il fait bon s’y reposer après une journée d’activité. (Possibilité de faire du kayak et du vélo en proximité ) seulement à quelques kms du parc, cette maison est idéalement placée !

Maison tout confort, très propre, et très bien équipée, située sur un très grand terrain avec barbecue, salon de jardin, grande terrasse couverte, jeux pour enfants. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und ist gut geeignet für Paare oder kleine Familien. Es war wirklich sauber und in der näheren Umgebung findet man kleine Supermärkte. Es gibt einen wirklich schönen Garten, in dem man sich gut entspannen kann. Die Hausbesitzer sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend (auch wenn wir eher mit Händen und Füßen komminiziert haben), achten aber genauso die Privatsphäre der Gäste.

Sauberes und gut ausgestattes Haus in ruhiger Lage mitten in der Natur
Wir waren zu zweit für 10 Tage in dem Ferienhaus und haben die Zeit sehr genossen um den Alltag in der stressigen Stadt zu entfliehen. Es gibt sehr viele Ausflugsziele in der Umgebung, wo für jeden was dabei ist (Action, Ruhe, Wandern, Rad Fahren). Unserer Meinung ist der große Garten mit der schönen Terasse ein Traum. Die Housekeeper, die mit auf dem Grundstück wohnen können zwar kein Englisch, aber sorgen sich trotzdem sehr um einen und man schafft es gut sich zu verständigen. Falls wir nochmal in die Umgebung kommen, würden wir hier wieder gerne Wohnen.

A very nice vacation house with fabulous hosts
We stayed a week in the house which we received in a very good and clean condition and with almost all the facilities you need. We only missed an oven but that was a minor detail. The house is positioned around 8 km from Plitvice lakes and since the hosts kindly let you borrow their bikes it is easy to explore the nice rural surroundings too. We had one of our very best holidays here not the least due to the extremely nice and helpful on-site hosts making sure that we constantly felt comfortable and kept us supplied with plums and flowers from the garden. Never mind that communication occurred through a mixture of Croatian, English, German and body language - this was just part of the charm. We are happy to say that this is a highly recommendable place to visit.

Very nice styled house just 6 km from plitvice
This very nice holiday house has everything you want and more. It is beautifully located in the vicinity of Plitvice lakes. Easy to find and easy to park your car. The house is very well decorated and you find inside and around the house everything you need. The housekeeper was very kind and even brought wood to fire the wood stove. We were with two and therefore we had plenty of room. In the small kitchen you find everything you need, to prepare a simple meal. We had a great time! To be recommended.

Un coquet chalet avec tout le confort nécessaire et à proximité du parc naturel
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce chalet propre et confortable à 10 minutes en voiture du parc naturel. Toutes les commodités sont à portée de main et l'endroit est extrêmement paisible! Joséphine et Miele (les parents de marjã) ont été au petit soin. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir!
