Liked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Check in was smooth. The home is beautiful and the location was perfect for us. However, upon entering the home, there were dead bugs everywhere: cabinets, drawers, windowsills, inside refrigerator, floor, on beds, etc. We had a roll of toilet paper on the holder in each of the bathrooms and only 1 extra roll, 1 dishwasher pod, and 1/4 roll of paper towels. It is stated on the listing that these items are provided. I notified the owner and they stated they provide a "starter" and anything further we would need to acquire on our own. That is not what is stated on the listing. They also said they would "notify their cleaning team" of the poor cleaning. We had just driven 14 hours and did not feel like cleaning prior to putting our things away and enjoying our stay. We came back from being out one evening and the electricity was out. I again notified the owners and they stated they had been notified of the outage. Communication with us would have been helpful letting us know about the outage.
