"We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!"

"Amazing hotel and views -the location is unbeatable, the pool and property is amazing, in fact none of the pictures proves justice, this is an amazing hotel with lots to offers…. A car is required to get to the hotel, although I didn’t partake in any of the spa it did look amazing - the pool and the drinks are amazing - the breakfast is amazing where you can sit on the terrace - the restaurant offers good food although I thought it was a bit too much and overly fancy for nothing - and the taste wasn’t really there. "Exceptional family owned and run property; Luis and Zulmira could not be better hosts. They were warm and engaging tending to any request during the three nights we were there. Breakfast was excellent, with many choices, and the common areas are well decorated and very comfortable. The room we had was large, and well laid out with a comfortable chair, desk & writing chair, built in wardrobe, and a balcony. One night we had Luis prepare a traditional dinner for us, which we enjoyed very much. We also found an excellent local rosé to go with dinner; we were able to stop by the winery and pick some up the next day. Overall an exceptional property, made better by the owners and everyone associated with them. We will definitely book this property again when we return to Portugal. "

"It was the most beautiful, peaceful and relaxing stay at this lovely property! It was so unique to have stayed in a 400 years old cottage/villa that was renovated with everything you needed and more. It was also a museum with artifacts from many years ago, very special! Not to mention, the AMAZING home made breakfast every day that was served by the most WONDERFUL women, who were always kind, generous and welcoming to all of us. "The staff here were amazing. The property is very nice, the room was perfect with a small deck for enjoying your free time. The breakfast was well worth the money , nicely presented and everything you could want. I would definitely stay here again. The downfall is there is not a lot to do in this town but if you have a car you just drive to wherever you want to go. "
