Very run down although pretty clean. Positive: comfortable bed, easy check in, friendly staff, breakfast options, hot cocoa was great, warm swimming pool, convenient. Negative: Two lamps didn't work, only gave decaf, only 2 towels for 2 people in beginning, run down/needs updating desperately, pool area limited lighting (needs fixed). Will choose another hotel next time but it worked for a spontaneous trip.

Love the smell of the ponderosa pines throughout the 60+ acres around property. Very rustic cabin experience, comfortable alcove room, lots of trails to explore and pool and hot tub were our favorites.
We try to stay at sleeping lady a couple of times each year, but warm September days are the best.
