On site, you will find all the equipment you need in order to call home while visiting We nicknamed the apartment the golden cross following the discovery of a bottle of gin in the wall following the renovation of the kitchen. This bottle of gin dating from 1903 reminds us of the history and the beauties of this typical building of old Quebec. Other than the freshly renovated kitchen, you will find a cozy living room with TV, 2 queen-sized beds closed bedroom, 1 single-sized bed closed bedroom and a double-sized bed loft-styled bedroom. A baby travel crib is available upon request at a cost of $10 per night, maximum $50 per stay. The condo is located on rue Saint-Vallier which is renowned for its many restaurants and cafes. You will find everything you want within walking distance. You are at 15-20 minutes of walking distance to the famous Old Québec and all the best places to see. The apartment’s separate rooms worked well for the kids, the bathroom amenities are nice and modern and the kitchen well equipped with everything you need. For us the location was ideal in that you can get a little exercise in with the walk to the Old City, however, not too far at around 20 mins, that it’s a burden. If you don’t want to take the stairs there is a free elevator up that you can find if you walk along St. Vallier. There are also grocery shops, restaurants and bakeries with a few blocks.
