Location was great, both lower and upper town easily accessible. We had everything we needed. The renovations for an older property were thoughtfully completed, would stay again. We came to celebrate my sisters birthday and had a great time. Quebec City is always wonderful. Sadly, the Winter Carnival succumbed to the lack of winter weather. The lack of snow did not make it seem so festive, but on the flip side it made walking a breeze. If your looking for room to spread out a bit, this place gave enough. It was also nice to have the entryway for wet shoes and coats. We absolutely loved the location and walked to everything in the old city. We did have a rental car and utilized the parking spot. It was a spacious garage with always plenty of spots. It was also nice that it was heated. We didn’t mind that it wasn’t on site, since it was only about a 5-7 minute walk from the apartment. We took our first trip to QC with our three children and this apartment was perfect for us. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The space was great for our family of 5\. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with exactly what we needed. The kids loved the deck, especially the Tuesday and Thursday nights (I think only in the summer) when we watched the fireworks over the St. Lawrence. The location was great - quiet at night but walkable to everything, including cafes, riverboats and restaurants. We weren’t able to park in the parking garage due to our car-top carrier but the property owner was very helpful in suggesting other parking locations suitable for our car. Certainly beware of the fact that there is no elevator in the building, but it is stated clearly in the listing, and the 5 of us were fine with it.
