Just a lovely stay at the marina house boat in old Quebec. Beautiful view of Quebec city and the surrounding area. Staying at the marina was so enjoyable and relaxing.
The views of the city are amazing!!! The house boat is so beautiful and different. Very spacious and though it only has one bathroom, it very large. The outdoor shower on the back deck is refreshing when using the lovely deck on the top of this classy floating home!
Lovely houseboat, in a safe secure marina. Quiet and lovely view of Old Quebec. The interior was modern. Appliances, furniture very nice and comfortable…. Good shower, well functioning waste system.. Best part was view from decks and waiting boats go by. Short walk into city near everything. Would go back! Taxi service at Marina and help always available.
Our houseboat stay was better than I even expected! The location was near to most of the places we wanted to be, with only 15-20 minute walks. We didn't move our car after arrival. The two 'maisons' are so cute, and the interior of ours was like new. Except for a few dirty pans in the kitchen, and a honey spill (we think) on the glass table and a placemat, we were able to make some meals on our own...going out for lunches and dinners. Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique place to stay. The only drawback is that there seemed to be a great deal of construction around the marina so there was noise during the day. Early mornings were quiet, as were evenings when we enjoyed sitting out on the deck.
The hotel we had booked had an unexpected strike so we had to make other plans. The boat was perfect! Parking was easy, safe and free and only a short walk to boat. There are rolling bins that can transport supplies to boat if needed. We didn’t need, but it was a nice touch.
Boat was very comfortable with amazing views of Old Town. Old Town is a short walk away. Kitchen has the basics which was great for us. We only had breakfast on the boat.
Bathroom had a ton of natural light. Toilet is a little tricky, but we just followed the instructions. No problem.
Things that would make boat even more comfortable:
Improved WiFi
Mirror outside bathroom so someone else can get ready if someone in bathroom
Bathroom—add hand towel holder, toilet paper holder
End table in family room—no place to put a drink
Stains on the family room furniture—think someone could spot clean pretty easily
Bed comforter had several stains.
We loved the floating house! It was exactly as pictured. Location is convenient to old town. Minor issue was resolved quickly by management. Checkin was a little challenging due to language differences but we figured it out! Would definitely stay here again.
We wanted something different than a hotel for our visit to Quebec City and the House boat did not disappoint. Great location with an easy walk to Old Quebec, the public swimming area, rental bike stations and great restaurants. The houseboat was spacious, modern, comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning as the sun came up and wine at night looking at the views of the city. Check in and check out was easy and the staff at the Marina were very welcoming and helpful.
This has to be the best view anywhere in Quebec City. This was our first time staying on a houseboat, and we really enjoyed our time there. We actually ate dinner in most nights because the weather was wonderful and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the view. Actual cooking has to be very basic, and we weren't able to get the oven warm enough when we tried to use it. But some charcuterie and a glass of wine was all we needed. I highly recommend this place. It could be a challenge in the winter if there is snow and ice, but otherwise, it's just a short walk to old town, so extremely convenient.

Très bien situé. Dans la maison bateau, il y avait une forte odeur de cannabis. Les oreillers et la couverture dans le sectionnel ne semblaient pas propres. Il n'y avait pas de télévision et ni radio. L'Internet fonctionne mal.
