Steps away from all the best attractions of the city yet in a quiet part of town. Historic hotel converted into modern apartments, a great base from which to explore this wonderful city. Parking available for 1 car. Additional parking at City Hall 300m away. CITQ registration number 007825 The Space: This just-renovated 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath apt is on the 3rd floor of a 4 storey hotel. The property is fully licensed for short-term rentals in Quebec, ensuring a secure and worry-free stay with no risk of cancellations due to local regulations. Parking and the entrance to the building to access the apartment is located in the back of the building on Hebert Street. There is no elevator, so guests will have to climb 2 flights of stairs to reach the apt. Once inside the apt there is a small foyer where guests can leave their shoes and jackets. A large living room, dining room and kitchen look out over the old city and the port, with a small balcony to enjoy the views. Two bedrooms have one queen bed and a third has two queens. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. One bathroom is a powder room. The Neighborhood: Just steps away from the heart of the action in Old Quebec, you’ll be in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Canada. The Chateau Frontenac is a 5 min walk, and the shops, restaurants and bar on St Jean and Cote de la Fabrique are 200 meters away. The area is residential and our converted hotel is the only business in the area. Getting Around: Taxi/Uber is the best way to navigate the city. Parking can be complicated and all the key attractions of Old Quebec are within walking distance. The amenities were very convenient for a few-day stay. The process to store our luggage before check-in felt unsafe and not part of a standard VRBO experience. The luggage storage area was a service hallway with a code given to guests of the attached hotel and used by the cleaning crew. We felt nervous leaving all of our luggage there, plus it would have been impossible for the cleaning crew to get around it with their equipment. The VRBO apartment was nice and decorated on trend, but our one tub had a red mildew upon arrival that we had to clean, crumbs and dust balls were under the couch and all beds, and the area rugs were stained and hadn’t been vacuumed. We spent more on this VRBO per night than we would have getting multiple rooms at a 4-star hotel nearby, so we were expecting a better service.
