Note that it is not the whole house, only the side door which leads to a cozy little studio. I was very pleased with this stay, the owners were very nice, and although they live in the main house we had maybe one actual interaction, they did a good job keeping our privacy which we enjoyed. The only thing is it wasn't decorated for Christmas as promised. Since it is my favorite holiday and we spent most of the time at the house, especially Christmas day because it was so cold, it would have been very nice if it was decorated as discussed, but overall the experience was lovely. Quebec is a beautiful city, and the house isn't very far from Old Quebec itself (about 15 mins) which is a bonus! We also brought my little dog Archie and he had a blast! Owner were friendly but not around too much to address issues. I was surprised there was stairs to access the living quarter The bathroom drain for sink and shower were slow. Had to brush teeth in kitchen sink . And stand in a puddle while showering. The worst part was the pull out couch. I assume it was folding bed/couch. It was only a pull out pad that can only fit an 8 yoa child. My daughter was sleeping in the bedroom while i sleep on a couch sideways for 9 nights. Not the end of the world but not impressed.
