The home is in an amazing location with extraordinary views. The home is clean and has everything you need while you're there. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing place to get away.
Weekend getaway for a wedding in Mardela Springs, MD. Location was convenient. The views were amazing. Big open main level for entertaining our party of 12 that included adult children. The onsite cottage was perfect for when the adult children wanted to stay up and play card games. We are already planning our return visit!
This is a very nice and remote property right on the water. The house has plenty of room inside. Main bed and bath downstairs with 3 bedrooms and full bath upstairs. There is also a small cottage! The host is extremely quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.
This property was exactly what we were looking for our family vacation. Location on the water, the amenities were above and beyond, comfortable beds, and land as far as you could see. The fishing and crabbing was exceptional for all ages. The kids loved crabbing, new to us, caught some turtles as well, all released back. Paddle boarding and kayaking on morning water (like glass), was on the daily. There is a perfect fire pit area to enjoy. The large open concept home is perfect for the entire family, the cottage being an added bonus. We are foodies and love to cook, the Blackstone was our go-to. We traveled to OC for beach time, dinner and kids games. Without a doubt, we will be back. If the water calls you, this is your place.
This is a beautiful property. It is so peaceful and private. We celebrated my parents 65th wedding anniversary with our family. We loved crabbing and fishing off the dock (we caught 3 catfish) and taking the paddle boards and kayaks out on the water and of course the absolutely amazing sunsets - it just does not get more beautiful!! Everything is included from shower soaps, shampoos, towels, bed linens, paper products, etc. The views from basically every room is just beautiful. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The private cottage is a big bonus! The owner was available if any problems occurred. We unfortunately lost power from a storm and the power company had it back on quickly which was amazing for being so far away from everything. The owner was in constant communication with me and was amazing. If you are looking for privacy this is your spot! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.
All the best things! The long driveway leading to the impressive waterfront home. Eagles soarijg overhead daily. The water was amazing and even inside the views were so amazing you could have been outdpors. The house was spacious, beautiful, comfortable furniture, and everything was easy to use. The fireplaces indoor and out were a pleasure. Communitcation was excellent and timely. The house and yard could have used a quick last minute spiffing up before we arrived, but overall clean and so comfortable. We used the kayaks and would love to try the paddleboards. The dock was amazing and fishing was pretty good. Walking the driveway and expansive property was a pleasure. Nice to have our pups with us as well, they thoroughly enjoyed the place. For us, the privacy was paramount! We didn't see anyone! Perfect! We did see all the wildlife though, deer, bobwhites, turkeys, a snake, a coyote and eagles galore! Highly recommend and hope to return! Thank you for sharing your oasis with us!
The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The property is even more beautiful in person—photos simply don’t capture its full charm. The cabin is spacious, and the main house features an open layout with a stunning wall of windows overlooking the water. We loved making s’mores around the fire pit, taking peaceful walks along the dock, and ending our nights under the clear, star-filled skies. It’s wonderfully private and remote—truly the perfect setting for our family of 12 (8 adults, 4 children). Highly recommend!

We booked the Sunset Retreat because we had a wedding in the area to attend. What an amazing location and a great home! We truly enjoyed this weekend. Everything was in perfect working condition. The views are to die for, and it was so peaceful. Next time we come, we certainly plan on utilizing the beautiful outdoor setting. Our only regret is not booking a longer trip! We’ll be back for sure!
Maryland Eastern Shore life on the river. There were bald eagles nesting in a tree near the house. Crabs to be caught from the dock. The views from the property were amazing. It is way out on the Nanticoke, so be prepared to not have cell service once you leave the house. We found it helpful to have our map loaded on our phones before we left the property to travel around the area.
As a retreat from everyday electronic connected life, it was very relaxing!
I came here for 5 days with my wife and her family, including an infant and a toddler. The house was great, it’s so big that even with 8 of us and two kids, there was plenty of room. The property is totally secluded, you won’t see any neighbors around, and a great place to hang out. There isn’t so much a beach on the property, but you can walk in to swim off the boat launch. The owner also supplied us with two kayaks. They also have a crockpot and air fryer you can use.
One downside is it can get pretty buggy in the afternoon/evening, but it’s not too bad. If you would like a beach, we went to a great one about 15 minutes away at roaring point. There is also a great restaurant and tiki bar that is family friendly 5 minutes away. Highly recommend staying here
