The personal service was above and beyond. Location is OK, but not great. Our room was non-smoking, but through the bathroom air ducts came a strong smell of tobacco from other rooms, and as a consequence there was an unpleasant smell in the room. The management of the restaurant is not at the level of a hotel of this category: very limited selection and they did not have some of the already scarce choices. Amazing young ladies helped me with a 3am check in. Very attentive and alert. They also called a cab for me. The cab driver Mr Wang was exceptional. The Sheraton went way above, especially when I needed help during the Chinese Holiday ! Wel wat verder weg van de interessante touristische attracties. Zeer vriendelijk en goed personeel, met name bij de receptie en de eetzaal. Deden veel moeite om Engels te spreken. Schoonmaak van kamers niet optimaal. Vonden nog spullen van vorige gasten op de vloer. We arrived late in the night and lights in the main lobby were closed. We thought hotel is closed. Rooms were decent and spacious. Towels were of low quality. Could be better. Breakfast was not elaborate considering the Seraton brand. The rooms are quite large and very comfortable. The breakfast was varied and of good quality. The staff was friendly and particularly helpful. One of the managers went out of his way to help us with travel arrangements to our next destination (Chengde).
