Good place to stay

Stayed here over a long weekend. Local bus to Shanhaiguan and train station right out front. Restaurant and grocery store nearby. No cooking oil, salt, dish soap or paper towels in the unit

Pleasant stay.

Hotel is showings signs of tiredness. The staff are wonderful, especially Reception who are extremely helpful (eg arranging a car for the day with driver) but there was no restaurant available in the evening although advertised as available and although water was in the room there were no snacks or drinks in the minibar. Tea and coffee was available in room. Room was comfortable, spacious and bed comfortable - slept very well. Despite the little ‘negatives’ we would stay here again.

Business trip to Qinhuangdao

Hotel is beautiful, reception was nice, restaurant has an amazing selection, both Chinese and western foodstuff. The hotel has been heavily smoked into, before banning smoking, and one could easily tell. Also, water temperature varied during the showers, multiple times - could have something to do with the floor maybe? My room was on 21st floor. Location of hotel is great, in the middle of the shopping district, and short distance from train station or ocean front.
