Rustic Lakefront Cabin with Bonus 'Tree House' - A Place to Unwind

"We loved our stay at the Rustic Lakefront Cabin. The property is unique, secluded and certainly has a rustic feel which made it awesome. It was perfect for the size of our group and the tree house bedroom was such a delight. The property was well equipped with everything we needed for time spent in or on the water: diving board, kayaks, row boat, life vests, swim goggles, beach towels and fishing gear - we used all of the above! We saw so many birds including bald eagles soaring and/or diving for fish, minnows & salamanders right by the dock. The house also has an extra refrigerator which was nice. The owners were very responsive and nice to work with. We would definitely stay again!"

"There are not enough superlatives to describe this property! It is absolutely gorgeous! If there hadn’t been so much for us to see and do in the area, we would have been happy to stay put to wander the grounds and take in the natural beauty just outside the cabin door. While the cabin does not offer electricity, i.e. no screens, it does offer every other convenience: plentiful hot water, full kitchen, and comfortable bed. Bonus: the beach is less than five minutes away and we enjoyed morning coffee and evening sunsets there. The beach also offers cell service if you simply must! This place is Eden and we loved it."

"My wife, three teenage boys, and I absolutely loved this property! We have stayed at a lot of different properties over the last decade, and this is perhaps our favorite. The view of the lake is perfect! You can enjoy the sunrise each morning. The dock is amazing! We spent so much time down there. They have a fire pit for s'mores. The decks are amazing. The open layout is lovely. And they even have a sitting area in the basement where you can watch TV. Can't recommend this house enough."

"The property is in an ideal and peaceful location for enjoying the view, crystal clear water and family time. The property is the last stop on the road, perfectly quiet, with spectacular views.The kitchen is very well stocked and equipped for family meals and the living areas are comfortable. The master bed is adjustable and a good fit for an insomniac like me.The shower curtain and bathroom rugs could have been a bit cleaner but the rugs were easily taken care of in the well stocked laundry room.The host was gracious and allowed us to check in early when our arrival was pushed up. This is someone’s home and our family is thankful to have shared it in comfort and to create beautiful memories there."

"Location on beautiful lake Sutherland is gorgeous!! But the home while cute and comfortable really needs a little updating. I’d recommend some fresh paint. No WiFi or tv and the primary bedroom has a double bed which was a little tight for hubby and me, but the setting is really lovely."

"It was much warmer in the shelter than expected! It was 49 degrees the night we stayed and I actually had to push off some blankets during the night. The bathroom was clean and had hot water which was very nice. Our dogs enjoyed their time as well! "
