For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return.

Hotel very handy for the tram and the Stade Atlantique. Room large and clean, but no fridge, and toilet separate to bathroom and without a basin. Decor nicely done in mid-century modern, to match the building's age. Breakfast could have been slightly better organised and staffed. Gym area had a few cardio machines and small dumbbells, and the swimming pool (outdoor, opened the day we arrived) was accessed via a narrow walkway on the outside of the 1st floor so I didn't bother looking!
The area is just hotels and restaurants, and the conference centre. I can't imagine a similar place in the UK without a convenience store of some kind but there wasn't anything close by.

"Très déçu de cet hôtel. J'ai été logé dans une chambre ou la clim ne fonctionnait pas très bien en pleine canicule. C'est un peu dommage. Les toilettes fonctionnent difficilement. J'ai dû utiliser la poubelle pour faire chasse d'eau à plusieurs reprises. Le petit-déjeuner par contre est très ..."
