The home and grounds are beautiful. The beds are very comfortable, and the shower is refreshing. We loved our mornings on the porch, and the evenings in the cozy den watching TV. The location was in good proximity to Old Luckett’s Store, Harper’s Ferry and Museum of the Shenandoah. We enjoyed wonderful local cuisine. It was a great location, only a couple of miles from downtown Purcellville and about 10 to 15 minutes from a bunch of local breweries. The house bathroom and kitchen were nicely renovated. The outdoor patio was awesome, we were outside for most of our stay. I had some minor nitpicks, the gas grill's lighter didnt work so you had to light it manually and the air conditioning downstairs didnt match the temperature upstairs (I'm not sure if we missed a downstairs thermostat or not). The house is also situated very close to the main road so its not as secluded as you might think. I still loved the house and I would definitely would like to come back! ##### Eric P. Because of our early season visit to celebrate my wife’s milestone birthday, we unfortunately weren’t able to fully enjoy the outdoor amenities, but hope to return during a warmer time to get the full experience. The kitchen was well appointed and the bedrooms quite comfortable. The proprietor, Laure, was very generous, and accessible to answer all our questions. The house is just as cute in person. Stairs were tough and floors were a bit creaky, but that’s to be expected with a historic home. It did not disappoint!The house and property is so beautiful, so peaceful and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space to get hair and makeup done and so many opportunities for amazing wedding prep pics. Every room, every outdoor space ... amazing. The owner was so kind to allow us to check in early which gave us plenty of time to get ready for pre-wedding events. Purcellville is such a delightful city. Be sure to stay here though! My family and I had a fantastic stay at the Tip of the Hill! We had a family wedding in Middleburg and needed a place to stay.
