"If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. Complimentary pickup/dropoff service...

"Great villa in a remote location. We had the place to ourselves and the villa manager Raid was very attentive, had lots of information for us and nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend hiring a car due to location. Breakfast included and there’s an all day menu. "Lovely hotel on a great site in the heart of Langkawi. Shops, eating and beach close by. Initially we were allocated a room on the ground floor with not a lot of room and one narrow window overlooking an access road. We were very disappointed. After some discussion we agreed for a 5 day stay this was not acceptable and we would either check out or pay for an upgrade. We spoke to Andrew on reception and he listened and resolved our concerns. Agreeing to a move the next day - as it was late. The process was undertaken seamlessly the next day. We had a pool view and a fabulous room. I can’t thank him enough - he was exemplary. No fuss just excellent customer service. No extra payment required either. The layout of the hotel and breakfast etc was excellent. Sunbeds were a little scarce but we always managed to get one. There is room to add extra beds and that should be considered. So don’t hesitate to book this hotel. Go for a pool view if possible, breakfast also is a must. "
