The village is on the Valensole plateau. The building has 2 separate bedrooms, a lovingly equipped Provencal kitchen, a living room with satellite TV, and a balcony and garden. The surrounding area is spectacular and offers a variety of leisure activities such as hiking, climbing, mountain biking, motorcycling, canyoning, kayaking, paragliding, ballooning, gliding and much more. Villa with a wonderful view over the Plateau de Valensole and just a stone's throw from the famous Gorges du Verdon. This detached villa is on the ground floor and equipped with a very well-kept facility. They have a large garden on different levels and a large terrace with garden furniture, loungers and a grill. Children can romp wonderfully here and play with the available rackets and boules. The Lac de Ste. Croix offers several beaches, where you can swim, surf, rent pedal boats and boats to your heart's content. You can also visit the towns of Les Salles-de-Verdon (14 km) and Ste. Croix-de-Verdon (10 km), both on the water. The spectacular Gorges du Verdon has been a tourist attraction for years and is particularly recommended. The emerald green water of the Verdon river flows into the 21 km long gorge with steep cliffs and small beaches. From Moustiers-Ste. Marie (13 km) from you can make beautiful tours along the gorge, which you can alternate with one of the many climbing and water sports activities. In the picturesque village of Aiguines you will find a castle, restaurants, a chapel and a woodworking museum. Wir durften das Ferienhaus in einem sehr sauberen Zustand, mit bezogenen Betten übernehmen. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet. Auf der Terrasse konnten wir einen herrlichen Blick über die Provence genießen. Die Umgebung lässt sich mit den vorhandenen MTB erkunden. Zu eventuellen Fragen stand uns der Hauswart Gilles zur Seite und hat uns tolle Ausflugstips gegeben. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour d'une semaine, bien trop court pour découvrir le Verdon et ses merveilles. C'est un lieu reposant et ressourçant. Nous reviendrons. Für Motorradfahren, Kanuten, Wandern, Schwimmen, Klettern und vieles mehr gibt es keinen bessern Ort. Die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr gut und die Menschen sind sehr hilfsbereit. Auch ohne französisch Kenntnisse kommt man sehr gut zurecht. ##### Dirk V.
