The living room has a seating area and a television. It is very spacious and bright, perfect for sharing moments with your group. The dining room is furnished with a large vintage table. It has a large spacious swimming pool ideal for hot summer afternoons. The kitchen includes appliances, capsule and regular coffee machine to suit all tastes, essential cooking utensils and crockery. There is a washing machine and dryer available for your laundry needs. The 6 spacious bedrooms are decorated with vintage elegance and linen on all beds. The 4.5 bathrooms have all the amenities you will need to freshen up, including fresh towels and toiletries for your convenience. There is parking for 2-3 cars in front of the garage door. The house is always professionally cleaned for your comfort. Enjoy your stay! Guests will have access to the entire home! We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home so please take good care of it as if it was your own. El Puig de Santa Maria is a peaceful town in the Valencian Community, just a short drive from the coast. The Urb. Puigval-Chalets neighborhood offers a tranquil setting, surrounded by nature and providing beautiful views of the mountains and sea. It's a great spot for relaxation while being close to the vibrant city of Valencia. The town is home to historical sites like the 13th-century Monastery of Santa Maria and is near the beaches of El Puig, perfect for water activities or relaxing by the Mediterranean. With its mix of history, nature, and cuisine, El Puig is an ideal destination. The property is easily accessible by public transport and car. The nearest bus station, Camí de la Playa (line L112A), is just a 5-minute walk. Valencia Airport is a 28-minute drive from the property. This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before checking into the property. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (3 p.m.). We provide the basic amenities for the first use: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag. Please let us know if you need cleaning or extra linen; we will gladly provide an additional charge. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at a minimum. Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€. Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay). Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee. The pool is incredible, perfect for relaxing. Location very good for beach. Main downside and why we didn't rate it higher is the garden/pool area. There is little garden (not an issue) but area around the pool is limited. This area gets 6 hours of intense sun with no shade. Only 3 sun loungers (for a house of possibly 12 guests), no place to sit and eat/socialise outside (a table is outside but only 2 chairs). There are awnings for shade but the controllers are not provided (we asked for them and were eventually given them but we couldn't get them to work). No other ways to shade the pool terrace so you go in the pool, get out and need to go inside to shelter from the very hot sun (sun too hot/UV too strong). This is major downside of this property and if addressed would significantly enhance it. We paid a premium for this property and would have expected some of the smaller issues including: No iron as detailed (agent tried over 2 days to sort but it would have meant us being in to receive parcel - something you go on holiday to get away from). Mouldy, decaying bath mat. 3pm checkin not possible as still cleaning 345pm. One small rubbish bag, no soap for bathrooms, aircon leaks onto terrace, no towel for drying kitchen items, longstanding broken toilet seat. Pool was dangerous with multiple broken/missing tiles) and big drop off one side - children! Overall a great stay but pool issues and small things could be easily sorted to make better. ##### don s. The host only provided us 1 bath towel per person and NO BEACH/POOL TOWELS were available for use at all. Considering we all traveled from the USA clearly we would not have space to pack a beach towel in addition to everything else. There were no paper towels or basic cooking supplies, like pepper, salt, seasonings etc. No paper towels, were provided and barely any trash bags. We had to go buy our own laundry detergent. My one complaint would be that the kitchen cupboards and drawers are all very badly organised. Also, the ice maker on the fridge leaked constantly, meaning a cloth had to be kept under it. The house was well appointed with the master bed being extremely comfortable. Clean property all-round, but with one exception - the pool, this was the main reason we came here and it wasn't up to scratch. The day we arrived we reported the pool was dirty and it took a day before we got a reasonable reply. Some of the communications were slightly accusatory and that the pool had been cleaned, then that the dirt was our fault and asking what type of dirt it was! A simple visit would have identified that it was not satisfactory and when the pool cleaner was sent we lost a full day without the pool. However it was dirty again within a day and the whole patio was covered in grit and dust, we ascertained that I was due to the jackhammer and building work next door but did not hear anything back. Took the shine off a really good time which was diminished by this issue. This is why three stars - pool issues and not the greatest interactions with guestready. ##### Rob C.
