The only AC is a window unit is in the bathroom directly across from the toilet. The only other window in the studio is inoperative because storm windows are bolted to them which prevents the windows from opening. I ended up keeping the door to the unit open and propping open the the storm door. The unit is extremely stuffy and fresh air is the only way to get any sort of relief. The ceiling fan is filthy and the side of the bed against the wall probably hasn’t been vacuumed all season. The owners apparently live on property with their dog so I can’t imagine they are not aware of these issues. Vacasa will not respond satisfactory to multiple requests to make the apartment usable. In addition, many details about the listing are fabricated, for example it does not have air-conditioning, and the bed is not a queen.
