The property was very clean and easy to find, and it was such a unique experience staying in a property that’s up to 150 years old. The neighborhood was quiet, with respectful neighbors, which made our stay even more enjoyable.Communication with the host was prompt and informative, making everything smooth from start to finish. About an hour or so after I arrived and got food, it was apparent there was a loud party going on upstairs. I called the owner, who responded quickly and contacted them. Two very nice young women came down with an apology and a bottle of wine. The party was a 25th birthday celebration for one of them. Though they said they'd turn down the music, I couldn't really tell any difference in the noise level, which continued until around 12:30 - 1am. I woke up the next day exhausted and dragged myself through my granddaughter's 10:30am graduation and celebratory dinner afterward. There are no bad guys here, but I wonder at the wisdom of placing a VRBO between two full-time tenants. They have a right to live their lives, and VRBO guests should be able to assume their accommodations allow for a decent night's sleep. ##### Patricia D.
