Our stay here was wonderful. Myself and 8 friends/coworkers were escaping from the stress of work. This was per PERFECT house for a relaxing vacation where we could unwind and decompress. Wes was very easy to communicate with and maintains a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious and adorably decorated. The bathrooms are luxurious and reminiscent of a spa and the outside patio area has well shaded areas as well as sunny spots for those who enjoy laying out. The river was warm and the neighbors were very friendly when driving by on their motor boats. We would absolutely stay here again!
The house is wonderfully appointed and perfectly located. High quality linens and bedding everyone slept great.
The Highland cows next door added the perfect ambiance, along with the river views. I would definitely rent this home again.
We had a fabulous time over the holiday weekend. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the river (it was hot!), the scenery was lovely, close to wineries and restaurants. The Prosser Farmer's Market on Saturday was a gem. We will look forward to returning!
Our wine group greatly enjoyed our 4 nights on the river. We found the house well appointed, comfortable, and had ample space inside and outside. Would definitely return.
If you want a great place to stay close to Prosser for a large group of people this is it. We were 5 couples that came for the weekend for wine tasting and a celebratory dinner. The house is recently remodeled and is well appointed.
Our family stayed in this great riverfront home for Thanksgiving weekend. The setting on the river was fantastic. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving dinner. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and the view of the hillside. We also went wine tasting at some great Prosser places. It was a wonderful weekend. Thank you for sharing your home.
Amazing! Start to finish. The view is incredible.. the beds are comfortable, everything looks perfect and it was truly paradise.
We sat outside and watched the meteor shower the night before my daughters wedding. It was magical. 💕
When you enter the house you are immediately in awe of the cleanliness, great kitchen, incredible decor, and fabulous gathering space for large groups. Once you start exploring the house to check out bedrooms, it’s another great surprise, so beautifully decorated, huge bedrooms. The apartment on the bottom level is fantastic! We had such a great weekend, wine tour with Little Hopper out of the Tri Cities on Sat and spent Sunday lounging, watching footlball & cooking, followed up by a rousing competition of corn hole! The back yard is magical. All in all, a fabulous weekend at an incredible house.
If it isn’t the charming country drive that delights you, pulling in to this beautiful home on the river will definitely do the trick! The house is beautiful and well taken care of. The most spacious house I’ve rented for a large group. Usually when a house says sleeps xx number you anticipate a lot of shared couches or beds. This house had so much space to spread out, sleep, rest, etc. The weather wasn’t the best while we were there and this house was perfect to cozy up in. We couldn’t imagine how nice the property is when sunny! We had a great time and hope to go back again!
Loved the home - great spaces and layout. Modern furnishings and fixtures. Clean. Classy welcome items. Private location and perfect place for entertaining. "6th bedroom" is a stretch - not useable & not made up but fortunately we didn't need it. Extra charge for more than 6 people (in a house that advertises that it sleeps 11) was not disclosed but holding parties of 30ish people is okay? As a home and VRBO owner, that doesn't make sense from a wear and tear perspective. But overall, everything was great. 5 stars for sure.
This was a terrific gathering node for our group to wine & dine & play games after a day of wineries and golf! We loved the chickens next door, the fluffy cattle (Scottish Highland, maybe?) and llama across the way, and the river view! Oh, and all the adorable little goats a mile down the road!!!
We were only 9 minutes from Desert Wind winery (food, wine, & dance space to enjoy a GREAT band on Friday night - Sum People), and 6 minutes from the Vintner's Village! About 4 minutes from Chukar Cherries, and 6 from Whitstran Steaks & Spirits (terrific food!)
Two "caution" notes on the location: the dogs next door don't like it when you walk past their house. Two of them even broke through the invisible fence, although they quickly went back as you could see the stimulator was doing its job. Also, this is in the country, and the farm smell rolls in at dusk. It's quite pungent, but doesn't last all night, and we didn't notice it during the day. Neither of these would keep us from staying here again, but they are elements that could be deal breakers for others.
The house was in great shape, easy to get in and out of, and well laid out. Communication with Wes was extraordinary, and they even left us a tasty bottle of "welcome wine" with a lovely note. We are grateful that they trust VRBO travelers with their lovely home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay while wine tasting in the area. The renovations in the house are well thought out and very nicely done. The yard is beautiful and the closeness to the river was wonderful. There were only four of us but we appreciated the two different levels we could use to provide privacy. The experience was indeed five stars. There are a few things that should be noted: there are no house numbers on the exterior of the home (that we could find) and a post outside with the numbers was difficult to see due to its placement. One of our party had a very difficult time finding the home because of this. The house could use a supply of bath tissues and more paper towels ( only one roll was provided). A couple safety issues were: no railings at the stairs into the house at the back door and at the last few stairs leading to the basement. One of us has MS and the other arthritis ) (yep, we’re over 60) and even though they might not be required by building codes, having railings would have made things safer and easier for us. There are no screens on the doors. Flies were an issue even though we made every attempt to keep doors closed at all times. None of these minor issues detracted from our stay. We had a wonderful, relaxing time. We appreciated the nice bottle of wine and cherries left as a welcome gift. You will enjoy staying

Beautiful home and property. The view from the patio of the river and hills was lovely. The beds were comfortable and the house was spotless. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. Communication with the host was excellent. This was the perfect home for our group of eight.
The home and property are beautiful. There were just a few small things. A few of the can lights were not working, but it was a lovely stay. We would definitely go back again. Thank you!
This was wonderful! we actually got married on the back porch with the river as a lovely background. The home and property were beautiful, clean and the host was amazing!
Beautiful home on the water! Host personalized a greeting for us and left us chilled wine and glasses on the counter. Great place for a group! Very lovely!
