Both the hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, as it is an easy walk into town. The hotel is very well-maintained, and our room had a lovely view of serene Lake Trasimeno. "

The rooms and en suits were large with a safe, hairdryer etc everything that top hotels offer. "Este hotel es excepcionalmente bello, unico y perfecto para unas vacaciones en la Toscana. La propiedad esta impecable al igual que las habitaciones, super limpias, cómodas y A/C super fuerte (no muy comunes en Europa) Staff fue muy amable y la cena espectacular. Es un deleite caminar la propiedad. Literalmente en cada metro puede tomarte una foto de ensueños. Recomendamos este hotel 200%. Esta a solo minutos de Cortona una linda ciudad para visitar. Villa de Piazzano te dejara en shock con su belleza desde que vienes por la carretera entre una hilera interminable de pinos cipreses. Simplemente Stunning."
"Lovely classic-style hotel. Friendly staff. Great cleaners. In the old town but at the edge. Superb view from Umbria - you could see for miles. Breakfast ok. Didn’t eat there but loads of restaurants nearby. Stayed 5nights. Great based for visiting other umbrian towns eg Assisi, Spello, Gubbio by train and bus. "
"This hotel gets 5 stars in my book. The staff was welcoming as soon as we arrived and continued to be help throughout our stay. The rooms were old world elegant and so clean. The breakfast was world class, we have never had such large selections of food that were extremely delicious. They really go above and beyond to treat each of their guests like royalty."
"The propriety is one of the nicest I’ve stayed at. Very relaxing atmosphere, comfortable large pool area. Breakfast and lunch options are delicious. Room was very comfortable and spacious.
The only problem I experienced was both adjacent rooms were smokers and did so on their patios. We couldn’t enjoy our patio or leave our do open while they were doing so. The property has a health spa and other wellbeing activities, but allows smoking on the property. I would consider this next time. "

"Stayed for 3 Nights really nice little place slightly expensive on the drinks though, the staff were lovely, it’s a shame they don’t have WI-Fi in the Bedrooms something the hotel should consider "
"Not really what you expect from a 4 star hotel in terms of amenities and cleaning. The room rugs in the floor that were a bit smelly. The pool was dirty"
