As a newly established private gated community with an onsite manager, you can rest assured that all amenities, including the pool, Jacuzzi, and BBQ (shared), are meticulously maintained daily. The owners use the house as their second home, ensuring it's always kept to the high standards of cleanliness and stocked with fresh supplies. The villa features two master suites on the ground floor and one bedroom upstairs, each elegantly appointed with black granite in the bathrooms. One of the master en-suite bathrooms includes a bathtub, while the other two have shower facilities. There's one King-sized bed and two Queen-sized beds, with the upstairs bedroom slightly smaller than the downstairs master suites. Enjoy romantic breakfasts and dinners on the private lanai upstairs, overlooking the golf course, and unwind in the evenings in front of the large flat-screen TV. For business travelers who wish to stay connected during their vacation, we offer Wireless High-Speed DSL Internet throughout the house. We have a very large ice maker in the freezer, and our large fridge is relatively new, only 3 years old. Each bedroom has large ceiling fans, and in the living room. We provide two small desk fans in the villa that guests can move to different rooms as needed. These fans are not listed as amenities; they are offered as a gesture of hospitality to ensure guests' comfort and safety. Most houses and units in VOK do not have A/C, as we are located on the golf course and enjoy full winds throughout the area. Policies: Strictly no smoking, no shoes, no Pets of any kind, no Surf Board and no party. Smoking of any kind is not allowed anywhere in the condo premises, not inside, not in patio, not in parking lot. However, you can smoke on the public path outside complex. Please treat the home and complex with respect and care. Booking & Payment - Easy and Simple The full payment depends on the period and how far in advance you need to book the Villa. We kindly ask for the valid photo ID of the primary traveler for Advance Check-In and emergency purposes before your stay, including your address through VRBO. We will also require you to sign up for the $59 damage protection through VRBO. A refundable deposit of $300 will be required in addition to the rental fee. This deposit will be returned to you upon the satisfactory inspection of the property after your stay. We will share the welcome instructions and code with you once we have your details before your stay. We are not offering any special discounts or house exchanges. We will also contact after booking online and confirm our rental agreement/guest's details to be accepted via VRBO communication. That being said, it is described as a "luxury" property, which is inaccurate – the property has a dated feel and the appliances are old. Our major problem was with the host, who was very difficult to communicate with and adversarial at times. We were unable to locate the beach towels, after looking everywhere we contacted the host, who suggested places to look. The beach towels were not on the property so the host sent the cleaners to deliver beach towels. We were then told the “beach towels had been there the whole time” (which they had NOT been) and that we were going to be charged for the cleaner’s time. Furthermore, there was a pair of laundered underwear that was not ours attached to one of the towels. I sent a picture of this to the host, and he reported me to VRBO. They then took the cleaner’s fee from our damage deposit. It was the strangest interaction with a host I’ve ever had. We rent out our own property frequently and are very relaxed guests, so this was surprising and ultimately left us feeling irritated on our holiday. We had a great time here over the New Years holiday. The unit was nice and spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Everything was clean, and communication with the property management company was quick and easy - they were very responsive to a small plumbing issue we had during our stay. The one downside was the lack of beach gear available for us to use, compared to other places we've stayed, but that was minor and not a huge inconvenience. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in Princeville. One thing to keep in mind, is that there is no AC in the unit, but with the windows open and the fans blowing, it wasn't too much of an issue in the winter time. ##### Alissa W. Make sure you read the entire listing and the listing on their website, not just the vrbo website. Vrbo had no mention of no AC and shame on us for assuming they had one. The check in involved several emails with detailed house rules. We found ourselves digging through emails looking for pass codes and details. There were only 2 portable fans for the three bedrooms that only seemed to blow hot air on us at night. Communication with their team was not great, not helpful, and only during business hours. What a great place to stay. Every window looked out onto a lovely view, be it mountain, trees, or golf course. The home is well maintained and very comfortable. As a family group of 6 adults, the only negative remark was that my tall sons would have preferred a King bed over the two Queens. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The owner was always quick with a reply whenever I emailed with a question - usually within the hour.
