Plantation at Princeville 1322: This elegant air-conditioned Kauai vacation rental at The Plantation at Princeville is close to everything! You'll be just a few minutes drive from great beaches like Anini, Hideaways, and Hanalei. It's one mile to the Princeville shopping center with its shops, restaurants, grocery store, and gas station. The Makai golf course and tennis courts are a mile in the other direction. The walking/biking path through Princeville is right across the street which makes it easy to head to the shopping center, park, library, or beach, without having to get the car out of the garage! These upscale north shore condos have ocean, mountain, and waterfall views. They share a swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center, conference room, and mail center. Garage parking is available.

Ideally situated away from the main road, Plantation 1322 sleeps six in luxurious climate-controlled comfort. The master suite and the first guest bedroom have king beds. The second guest bedroom includes two twin beds. Please note that the central AC does not vent into the guest bedrooms, so you'll want to sleep with either the door or the window open. The furnishings are both high quality and very comfortable. You'll find a full kitchen with bar seating, dining table with seating for 4, and living room with flat screen TV.

There are three bathrooms. The master bathroom is very large and includes a jetted Jacuzzi tub. The guest bathrooms have both a tub and a shower. You'll also enjoy an in-unit washer/dryer, free high-speed internet, and cable TV. The large, shady, private lanai overlooks the grounds and comfortably seats six people. It's a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee or a casual al fresco dinner! Mountain views.

Princeville Plantation

This property worked well for us, as we had 2 couples and 2 kids, so 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms were perfect! The location and the lanai were the best!!

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is quiet and accessible to plenty of activities for a family. The only constructive feedback I have is the furniture is dated and there were some dirty dishes left in the cupboards, but the property manager was responsive when we updated them. We would definitely return!

Spacious layout, 3 very private bedrooms w private baths, well equipped kitchen, very nice pool & hot tub, big lanai/terrace, great birds, good view of sunrise. Small view of the ocean in the distance & mountains. My only misgiving & it is personal is that Plantation is more densely built than other places we have stayed in Princeville.

The Plantation in Princessville

The condo was as advertised. Our reservation was seamless as always. The condo location was perfect for walking to the local shopping center for food and supplies, as well as walking to the beach. The owner supplied several useful items in the garage, such as an ice chest, beach chairs and an umbrella. There was extra sheets and beach towels as well. We had 5 adults and there was plenty of space. Overall I was very pleased with our 10 day stay.

Very nice place to stay! Or was clean and well stocked! It would be nice to have locks in bedroom doors is the only thing I would recommend! Otherwise it was in a wonderful area and nice grocery store close!!

Exactly what we expected

We had a wonderful stay. Condo was the perfect fit for our family. Loved having a washer and dryer. A/C worked great. Easy checkin and we even added a late checkout so we could still play all day the last day and shower before our 10pm flight. We will definitely be back again.

The location was also great with beaches within 5-10 minutes of driving and general store and food 5 minutes away. Best part, no insects. Overal great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

Oddly, there is a “no ball play” rule in the whole complex and our daughter brought her volleyball and was bummed not to play - but not the end of the world. There were 3 older beach chairs and a cooler and a couple boogie boards which was nice. Location: not walking distance to a beach. Quick drive to Hanelei and even quicker drive to Foodland.

Safe and quiet neighborhood

If you want to getaway to somewhere quiet, get a good nights rest and wake up to roosters crowing and birds chirping in the morning, then the Plantations in Princeville is the place to stay. Hanalei Bay is minutes away and the shore and market are walking distance. The area has a great golf course at Princeville Makai (if you're willing to spend $359+ per person on a round of golf) nearby. Our stay at the property was very pleasant, complete with beach gear and advertised amenities, including a garage for our rental car. The 4-point rating is because the property is a bit outdated and needs some minor updates to the bathrooms (plumbing) and kitchen (stove). Overall, the property at the Plantations is great for a large family but seems more suitable for retirees. Young adults and Spring breakers would probably enjoy beach area hotels much more for the noise levels.

Very Comfortable Place to Stay

This was a family vacation with a grandma, a son, and two granddaughters, ages 20 and 17. I think each age group, each person, found their niche and were able to do what they wanted and enjoyed doing. The condo is nicely furnished with almost everything that we might need; we had to purchase food, but then again, we ate out a lot, too. It's close enough to lots of good places to eat as well as beautiful beaches to play at. The son enjoyed his morning run each day and explored the area the most thoroughly of any of us. The granddaughters enjoyed going to the pool and hottub. It was ideal. I know we heard comments from others that we talked to about Princeville being for the rich, but we are not rich; we did save for this trip and I think this condo was worth it. Thank you.

Comfortable condo in nice Princeville location

This condo is located inside the Princeville neighborhood. Check-in process was smooth as we received emails and texts from the property management before our arrival and right afterwards with information. Beds in both rooms were comfortable, except no AC, but fans helped. The Master bedroom was a good size right off the kitchen/living area and deck. The deck faces the other condo buildings and small parking lot and the other side of the deck faces some tall trees. Kitchen was small, but well equipped for a family of 4. Beach gear in garage was a nice touch, with 3 beach chairs, boogie board and a couple of umbrellas. Neighborhood is quiet and you can park your car in the garage so it stays cool. Overall quiet neighborhood and condo area, comfortable and peaceful stay. We highly enjoyed staying here.

Great Neighborhood!

We enjoyed our stay! Loved the lanais views and rhe neighborhood was perfect to walk around. The property was close to a grocery store, shaved ice, golf course, beach ans so much more.
