"What a find - 10/10! Our family of four (kids 17&19) stayed four nights at the end of August 20204. This beautiful farmhouse has an interesting history which is provided in a write up hanging on the wall. The house has been updated over the years to provide modern conveniences, yet it retains the charm and heritage of the original home. It is very well cared for - clean, comfortable and everything functions as it should. The property is amazing, with a mix of trees and grassy meadow which provides both privacy and a waterfront view from the house. The trail to the beach is a short, easy walk through the meadow and the waterfront is gorgeous and ever changing with the rise and fall of the tides. We had a fabulous time relaxing, beach combing, fishing, paddle boarding (we had our own boards), swimming, star gazing, roasting marshmallows by a beach fire and playing the many games found in the house. Everything we needed during our stay was provided, and the hosts were great people and quick to respond to any questions. Groceries were a quick 15 minute drive away, as were some fun attractions like the Potato Museum and the West Point Lighthouse. We stayed four nights but happily could have done a week or two. Thank you Lynn and Shawn for sharing this amazing property and for being such great hosts. "
