"The communication with the owner was great. We did have some issues checking in not getting the floor or room number or the wifi password. The room was a bit worrying cracks in the sink the toilet not in the right space, the bed not being larger people friendly and it was hard finding basic essentials like the toaster. The room was spacious and the air con was very chilly. It was walkable distance to central and very close to queen vic. It was very easy to find groceries at the woolies around...

"perfect for 1 night. this was our second time in Great Southern Hotel Melbourne, the first was so much better, the room was bigger and had a window to the street. This time we opened the door and in less than 10 steps the bed was there, so no much room. Also at night I was freezing, not enough blankets. If you only want a place "to crash" just for a sleep and a shower next day it's perfect. "
