The Alexander is part of the multi million pound Hamilton Development dating back to 1713 and in 1986 was made a Grade 2 listed building. It’s location is superbly situated for those wishing to explore the South Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & Lancashire. However, on the doorstep there are some incredible walks and lovely cafes & town’s worth a visit! Close by is the village Scorton, with a wonderful 3 mile walk around Nicky Nook show casing views of the Forest of Bowland, Heysham & Morecambe. This walk ends by two very well-known cafes, The Apple Store & The Barn. Both are worth a visit during your time here! The market town of Garstang is just down the road and offers a variety of shops, cafés and pubs, as well as a weekly Thursday market.
