The kids and our dog had a lot of fun running around outside and playing around the dock area. The house is nice. Good amenities and we didn't have any issues that needed attention. I love how peaceful the area is. Would have rated it 5 stars if someone had done a pre arrival run through and cleaned up all of the dead bugs. ##### Daniel F. Kayaks, paddle boat, etc. and added bonus but if life jackets are needed, you’ll need to supply your own. Cleaning staff needs to be more aware of areas that need attention. As indicated in previous posts, dead bugs seem to be a recurring theme. Fan/light fixture in upstairs bath, under couch in loft area, in corner by grandfather clock. During our stay, we kept silverware on counter as silverware storage was a dirty cardboard box. Comforter in upstairs bedroom dirty. Service alarm on hot water heater would go off and immediately shut off hot water. Would have to reset to regain the hot water. Lower level bathroom had box cutter blade holding the bathroom vent open and vent was not properly attached to ceiling. Some type of water leak going from furnace room to hot water heater closet. Judging by peeling paint and wet wood, this had been going on for some time. Plenty of plates, silverware, glasses, but only 5 bowls. Makes it difficulty for group of 7\. Property management was notified and photos provided for water leak, dirty comforter and silverware storage on the 1st night of our stay. There was a issue with the oven door that received prompt attention from property management. Reported first night, maintenance on site the 2nd day (he also removed box cutter blade) and new stove/oven on the 3rd day. Beautiful quiet lake with loons and bald eagles. Paddle boards, kayaks, and paddle boat available for use. The entry to the lake is a shallow rocky bottom. Spacious home with 3 levels was nice for our family. Well-equipped kitchen except no lighter for the grill. Comfortable beds. The house was clean. The outside property could use some love and attention. We were told that water sports we allowed on this lake HOWEVER the only lake access’ are on private properties and they do not allow “the renters” access. So we brought our two boats to take the kids and grandkids fishing and tubing and instead had to spend the week watching the “locals” have all the fun. Tried contacting Vacasa and got no where. We were also skeptical that the only outside pics were snow covered and that was due to a lot of not so nice looking areas (see photos). You will have access to the lake via a private pier, as well as to paddle boards, a paddle boat and a canoe.
