"Its proximity to the park was the main reason why we chose this place. However, parking was a bit challenging. Breakfast was good. We walked in hoping to take a shower and then rest after driving 8-9 hours but there were no towels. We ended up waiting about an hour because we were told they were still being dried. The room could use a little upgrading."
"The restaurant in site is delicious!!! I brought my 5 granddaughters and we were comfortable - the outdoor pool awesome!!! Thank you for a lovely time💕"
"We had a great time staying here! The location was ideal, and it was comfortable and quiet. The only downside was the pool being a bit small and the hot tub out of service, but we would absolutely stay here again. "
"Our 4 night stay was excellent. Our room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Breakfast was OK, usually eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, bagels, English muffins, cold cereals, waffles, etc. The hotel is within a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to several restaurants, shopping and the 1880 train depot. Very safe walk, very well lit. Mt Rushmore was less than a 10 minute drive. The Comfort Inn was the perfect location for exploring several of the attractions in the area. We would definitely stay here again!"
"The 5 stars is for the front desk lady in the morning. She's warm and welcoming. I hesitated about the tunnels at Needles Highway but with her warm assurance, I drove one of the memorable drives in Custer State Park. Needles Eye wasn't as narrow as I thought. The motel and the room were dated. I personally don't like beds with those old school coverings. That said, I would stay there again. The motel is in a very convenient location; virtually at the foot of Mount Rushmore. Restaurants are within walking distance but shops close early including the gas station store next door."
