I have stayed in several VRBO's and this was my favorite. The owners have put a lot of work and effort to make this a fabulous place to stay. Everything inside and out has been decorated and kept up, and it exceeded our expectations. The outside grounds are especially amazing, and was great to just sit outside and enjoy all the nature around it.We hope to be able to stay here again. The hosts were especially friendly, and enjoyed talking with them.

Lovely place

We had a great time here and the living quarters were just right for a couple like us. The location is fantastic at the end of a small road that feels very secluded. Check-in and out were very easy and communication between us and the hosts was convenient and prompt. We would highly recommend this lovely rental.

Great little get-away place

We really enjoyed our stay! I loved the skylight in the bedroom! The bathroom design was really nice and the shower was super spacious. The toilet set was also heated which was a nice feature in November and other winter months! We’d like to stay here again!

Private Couples Retreat! Secluded, yet 15 minutes from everything!

Wonderful, secluded little home in the Prescott National Forest. The Owner/Manager was quick to respond to my inquiry. Highly recommend!!!

Just what we needed

We stayed at the Love Shack for our 25th wedding anniversary and it was exactly what we needed. Beautiful, quiet location that’s close enough to lakes, shopping and restaurants. We would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back ourselves.

Wonderful Property!

Beautifully appointed and comfortable. Plenty of space for a couple. The grounds are lovely and you really feel like you’re miles away from the hustle and bustle, but in reality you’re 5 minutes away. The Love Shack will be our new home when we visit family in the area.

amazing stay in Prescott with peace and quiet

The Love Shack is exactly as described ..only even better! We had lovely weather and enjoyed all 3 sitting areas outside as well as peaceful creek. We arrived after dark and all of the lights were on which we appreciated along with all of the amenities. The hosts couldnt be lovelier.

Love Retreat

Great property. We loved our stay at the love shack. We enjoyed our morning hikes. You are feet away from the hiking trails. Barbara was a great host. We hope to visit again soon.

Great place tucked away in a private and quiet area surrounded by the forest and right by the creek. Very relaxing and comfortable stay. Still very close to the attractions in downtown Prescott too! The hosts were very helpful both ahead of our stay and upon arrival. Thank you!

A great property!! Bed was super comfy and everything well stocked. Our pup loved the fenced yard, and it was really close to Lynx Lake which is where we spent our days. Owner is friendly and communication prompt. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Romantic Getaway

If you’re looking for a peaceful and tranquil getaway in the tall pines, The Love Shack is the perfect place. The cleanliness and attention to detail is top notch. The space is rustic with the perfect amount of upgrades and charm. We will definitely be back!
