We originally booked this hotel because it showed it had AC, we saw a unit but when we inquired with the front desk they said no ac. We asked about the breakfast the last day and decided to go ahead and eat at the hotel before we left. Unfortunately when we went to eat everything was gone and not replenished because it was close to the end. That information would have been nice before they charged us. We ended up eating hard boiled eggs and toast. Wish I would have walked through before I charged breakfast but really felt like they should let you know since I asked right before. The room was clean and happy with my overall stay but the breakfast at the end really disappointed me with their customer service.

I tried to contact the property numerous times, by text and phone calls, no answer and no reply. I tried to cancel my reservation as France was having a 108°F. 42°C heatwave. The property has no air conditioning, which I knew, but being a deathly record high heatwave there was no way we could have been remotely comfortable. I couldn't cancel. We had to make last minute change of plans for a hotel with air conditioning. The next morning I received a notice that I was billed for the room. Extremely disappointed in the communication and lack of response to my texts.

We had a clean room with comfortable beds and a surprisingly large bathroom. Lying in bed, we could see the spire of the Abbey! Check-in before the walkway was smooth, and they allowed us in about an hour early. We also took the option to pay additionally for late checkout. There was coffee and tea in the room for morning and ample extra bedding and pillows. The staff was extremely helpful and kind during both checkin and checkout.
