Cycling stay in the Pyrenees
Fabulous stay in Prechac! Group of 12 friends on a cycling trip to various points in France. The location and amenities were wonderful. Great access to the classic TdF climbs as well as new found favourites. But very enjoyable to come back to the home and debrief in the house that has well appointed and large kitchen space and table next to the kitchen. And though the pool is not large nor heat d it provided good cold water treatment to tired legs. All rooms and beds as advertised. Danielle went above what is asked by providing an additional air mattress for our large group. Plenty of room to store all our bikes as well in the garage. And leading up to the trip and during the trip provided plenty of information and was readily available as was the caretaker, Kevin. The two restaurants recommended were exceptional as well, especially Le Buoic. The home is situated so close to Argeles-gazost that we were easily able to drive in pre ride to get our daily patisserie fix too. Look forward to our return. Merci Danielle!

Wonderful stay in fabulous house with epic views
We really enjoyed our stay. The views were stunning and we were all blown away by the location. The house had everything we needed for entertainment, comfort and cooking. We spent lots of time playing pool, ping pong, splashing in the pool, playing boules in the garden and watching films on the projector cinema! There are so many adventures to be had close by...I highly recommend the local swimming pool in Argeles and the pic du midi cable car ride is absolutely amazing (even the drive to get there but it's not for the faint hearted!) but only go in fair weather as the views are unbelievable. Also, definitely recommend the hautacams for luge, cycle ride in the sky (all ages from 7 to 45 went on the luge). Argeles market on Tuesday morning was brilliant too. I imagine this would be a great stay in the snowy winter months too, so we might just need to come back again and try this out next time!

Lovely base for Cyclists
We chose this property as a group of cyclists coming to cycle some famous Cols and see the Tour de France. It is a great position to cycle to Hautacam, Aubisque, Luz Ardiden and Tourmalet. It is in beautiful setting with nice bedrooms, 3 with ensuite and family bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped for a big group. It's not really walkable to Argeles but there are two lovely restaurants 20 minutes walk away Le Petit Couassert in Beaucens and the Buick on the Hautacam. Do book in advance of arrival and bring an umbrella if you can! We struggled a bit with the TV but had a GCN subscription so could watch Tour de France with that. The owners are very helpful with any queries. Highly recommend.

Lovely family home in the Pyrenees
We had a lovely stay in this spacious, beautiful house. It's a superb, quiet location but close enough to the main town of Argeles-Gazost for local supermarket, shops etc. The house is very well equipped and we spent a lot of time on the pool table! We would also recommend the nearby restaurant.

A lovely house in a beautiful location
Very easy check in to a well equipped and spacious house. The house itself is comfortable and clean. There are plenty of facilities should you wish to be indoors but it's not an area you visit to be indoors. The outdoor space is really good but a path from the front door to the rear garden would help. Stairs from the rear balcony would also be a welcome addition.

Great location
The house is in a great spot with a lovely sized garden. The plunge pool and table tennis were enjoyed by everyone. The house is really spacious with a big garage that is great for storing bikes. The location is perfect for accessing some fantastic bike rides. The house itself is not unpleasant. However, the Home Away website describes it as 'stunning' and although at some point this may have been accurate, the house itself has definitely seen better days and we felt the description was misleading. The house had not been well cleaned which didn't help our first impressions. For example, the property has fantastic views of the mountains from all the upstairs rooms but the windows were too dirty to fully appreciate them. The floors were dirty and the bedding and towels were well used with some having unpleasant stains on. Lots of the tableware, including bowls and glasses, had big chips in them and the we had to do some DIY on the washing machine to get it to work properly. I think that for big groups of skiers and cyclists who just want somewhere to chill out and relax after a day in the mountains the issues I've raised are unlikely to be a problem. However, we were on an extended family holiday with young children and we wanted to spend some time together in a 'stunning' house and it failed to meet the expectations set by the photos and the descriptions. With a thorough clean 'comfortable' would be a more accurate encapsulation.

Comfortable and spacious property in a great location
The property was very spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a 6 night stay. Plenty of fridge and freezer space and a washing machine which was a must for 6 sweaty cyclists. The property is in a beautiful and quiet location at the foot of the Hautacam and only a few minutes drive to Argeles Gazost and the bars and shops. We were on a cycling trip and this is the perfect location to hit the Hautacam, Tourmalet, Aubisque, and Luz Ardiden plus numerous other less famous climbs. The property has a large garage space so cycle storage is perfect. Communication with the owner prior to the trip was excellent.

Hadden prachtig verblijf in het huis. Wat een zicht. Zalig vertoeven in het zwembad en de kids konden tot rust komen in de home cinema. Een trap vanop terras naar beneden zou wel makkelijk zijn. Hele goede communicatie met de eigenaar! Een aanrader met kinderen,prachtige omgeving !!!

We hebben genoten van het ruime huis en de mooie tuin met zwembad. Ook de pooltafel was bij de jeugd in trek. De omgeving is ook prachtig en er zijn veel sportieve dingen te doen. Het huis is goed uitgerust. Alleen een of 2 extra apparte toiletten zouden het nog beter maken, vooral voor een verblijf met 15 mensen. En de wifi is ook niet sterk genoeg. Maar verder was het top!

La maison est très spacieuse et agréable pour un groupe familial comme le nôtre. Quelques remarques cependant : - coin évier de la cuisine à réaménager (le soir on y voit rien). Prévoir un mixer pour les soupes. Impossible de faire fonctionner un four à raclette (pas assez de puissance électrique ?) - une salle d'eau de l'étage à réaménager. - la grande salle du bas est sympa, surtout pour les jeunes. Par contre, 2 chambres, manquent beaucoup de lumière et sont difficiles à aérer. Toutes ces remarques pour le bien être de vos futurs hôtes et la valorisation de votre maison. M. R Régnier

Sympathique maison au calme et bien située mais chère pour les prestations.
Très bonne situation mais maison louée pour 8 personnes (parce que renseignée pour 8 personnes) mais avec une capacité bien plus grande. Du coup, beaucoup d'espaces inutiles et prix fort cher pour 2 familles. Certaines chambres aménagées dans d'anciennes caves sont peu "salubres" selon nous (lumière naturelle, ventilation). Piscine non chauffée (et info non communiquée).

superbe lieu de villégiature
points forts: maison très agréable et très spacieuse située dans un très bel environnement. Nous étions 14 dont 6 enfants de 5 à 13 ans. points faibles: literie et robinets de douches à revoir dans certaines chambres, équipement vaisselle limité. Malgré une météo peu clémente, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison aux beaux volumes. Ainsi, nous avons pu, comme nous le souhaitions, soit nous isoler pour nous reposer, soit nous retrouver ensemble pour gouter les spécialités du sud ouest et pour de franches parties de rigolade autour de la cheminée..des vacances d'hiver quoi ..il ne reste plus qu'à reevnir aux beaux jours ! Great place!
Rented the house with 10 friends to go cycling. Had a great stay, location was perfect for cycling trips. House was clean and we enjoyed the beamer, pool, pooltable and table tennis. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Noël en famille
Maison bien située au calme proche d'Argelès et de Lourdes. Maison fonctionnelle pour une grande famille( 8 adultes et 6 enfants) avec ses deux niveaux et ses 4 salles d'eau. Malheureusement, nous avons été déçus par le manque de propreté ( protège-matelas et oreillers tachés, poussières) par le manque d'entretien extérieur et de rangement. A quoi servent les frais de ménage inclus dans le prix de la location? Cette maison a des atouts qu'il faut savoir préserver.

Sorry to hear about the lack of cleanliness, I can only apologise for that, I was not out there to get the house ready and unfortunately had to get someone to do it for me. As for the sheets etc, we fully replace them at the beginning of each year, it was unfortunate this had not been done before your stay. Many apologies Danielle

Mooi, ruim vakantieverblijf
Mooi, ruim huis. Mooie omgeving! Aangenaam verblijf gehad met mooi weer en veel fietstochten. Veel slaapvoorziening, maar anders niet voorzien voor 15 personen. Eetruimte boven niet groot genoeg. Drie badkamers enkel toegankelijk via slaapkamer. Eén slaapkamer beneden is zeer vochtig. Keukenmateriaal is eerder pover en beperkt. Huis was ook niet zo proper gepoetst

Magnifique demeure dans un endroit très calme.
Nous avons passé d'agréables vacances dans un endroit bien situé au niveau des différentes stations de ski et dans une maison spatieuse et fonctionnelle. A refaire en période estivale, même si pour le coup nous avons eu un hiver estivale 😊

Ruime woning, goede bedden, prima sanitair, mooie omgeving, eettafel krap voor meer dan 8 personen
Rustige en mooie omgeving, ruime tuin met zwembad om heerlijk te zonnen. Vanuit hier zijn de fietstochten prima aan te vangen. Argeles Gazost is dichtbij, dus boodschappen, de bakker of een pizza zijn snel gehaald. De bedden zijn goed, het sanitair is prima. De keuken is goed uitgerust, alleen het eten met grotere groepen is wat krap. Goed huis om met enkele gezinnen te verblijven.

Maison spacieuse avec une superbe vue sur les Pyrénées
Nous étions 3 familles d'amis. La maison très spacieuse nous a permis d'être à notre aise et les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié le jardin pour des parties de cache-cache, la piscine et le home cinéma les soirs. Les papas ont apprécié la localisation idéale avec les cols des étapes du Tour de France à proximité et la billard dans dans la salle de jeux. Les mamans ont adoré la vue de la terrasse sur les Pyrénées et le calme de la propriété. Merci pour cette belle maison et pour le panier d'accueil à notre arrivée qui fut très apprécié.

Vraie maison familiale
Un vrai plaisir de séjourner dans cette maison : équipée comme à la maison, confortable, spacieuse, faite pour des vacances en famille, la salle de jeux est incroyable, parfaite, les enfants ont adoré, et les grands ont apprécié le home cinéma ! Nous étions 6 adultes et 5 enfants, plus notre chien, tout le monde a trouvé sa place, son espace !!! Hautacam nous a permis de skier avec nos petits enfants, c'est LA station familiale ! Grand moment de détente pour petits et grands aux bains de Argeles Gazost. De belles vacances !!!!
