(234 reviews) As a lone ,older, female traveler I must say that the staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and considering that I spoke very little French. They could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious, very clean , comfortable and extremely quiet. The breakfast facilities were adequate and there was plenty of variety. Again the staff were very attentive and friendly. I can recommend Hotel Vatel and would not hesitate to stay there again. The main issue has to do with finding the boutique hotel in a small street and parking, even temporarily, to unload your car. The hotel parking is an extra charge but, it is quite a walk from the hotel. If I had travelled without a car, I probably would not have been inconvenienced as much. But, as I said the room was very clean and staff very helpful.
