"We had a group of 16 people (6 families) to celebrate 70th birthdays. The Muskie Lodge was absolutely perfect for our crew! We especially enjoyed the onsite bar and game room and complimentary jukebox! There was plenty of space and everyone slept well. The kitchen / dining room setup was great to feed a large group. The lake view and access was perfect for our group of fisherman and we rented a pontoon up stream at the Tomahawk Resort so did some cruising around the lake and fishing by the bridge. We took advantage of the kayaks/canoe and enjoyed evening campfires. There are several nearby bars which we popped into and also did a little shopping downtown Tomahawk. Overall we had a blast and hope to return again!"

"Lightweight bedding. Thin walls bring earplugs!!! Nice hot water. Average breakfast. Needed more staff to keep food refilled. Nice remote and channel lineup."

"You get exactly what you pay for here, and it’s not much. If you’re cheap or poor like me, this is where you want to be. Also, there are a lot of people in and out so if socializing with strangers is your thing you’re in for a treat. There’s a weird guy that sits by the front desk and stares at everyone that comes down the hall but there wasn’t a category to rate him. Every other rating is “okay” but I’d probably rate him as “not okay”. Maybe he’s an undercover security guard. He’s not going to make you feel safe in any case."

"This has always been a solid hotel. We’ve stayed here many times because it is the best option in city of Merrill. The rooms have always been clean. The value for what you get can’t be beat."

"We had a great weekend at the Copper Lake Cabin! The hot tub was so relaxing and the lake views were stunning. "

"I generally stay here when I am in town to visit family that live in Wausau. The 15- 20 minute drive to there is worth it. Rooms are always spotless, beds are comfortable, and the staff are top notch. Also, I am an asthmatic where perfumed cleaners and such produce an attack, and they are one of a few in the area that use non-scented products for cleaning. That may not matter to some, but to those of us who are affected, it is extremely important. "
