Great location. Modern interiors. Breakfast buffet is pretty good. My issue is mainly with some of the hotel staff. It was the first day after check-in, I called down to the front desk and the phone kept ringing, with no answer. After calling back a few more times, with the same results, I finally went downstairs to see if anyone was still at the front desk, which there was. Two staff members, who seemed to be more concerned about their own personal cell phones than answering the business phones. In addition, upon my check-in, a staff member offered to help take our baggage up to our room. I respectfully declined, however another staff member approached and also offered, when I declined he was so insistent and began to wheel the cart towards the elevator. He ended up accompanying us all the way to our room unloaded the cart and placed our baggage by the door, and came in to “show us the features of our room” which was basically showing us the two functions of the room’s thermostat. And stood there with a smile on his face, waiting for a tip. I find this completely unprofessional and I felt that he was trying to take advantage of us as hotel guest. And he was one of the staff members who was later sitting at the front desk when I tried to call down several times when no one answered. In short, the facilities and location of the hotel are ideal. The staff and level of service rendered was disappointing.
