The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was good (just a few minute's walk from a tram stop) and the room was clean and comfortable. It was very basic but I paid a very basic price for somewhere so close to the city. The staff were all really friendly and we felt really welcome. There’s no front desk after hours, and there’s no telephones in the room, and the TV is a small monitor size TV. There is a small elevator to take you up and down, and there’s really no amenities around the hotel, except a few fast food places. You have to take the tram into the city, which takes about 15 minutes to get there. But as I said, you get what you pay for. The hotel is located along the river Vltava, with access to water sports, such as Kayak. The staff was very accommodating to any request and question. The breakfast was only 98 kc extra and included a wide selection of typical breakfast menu. Trams 2-3-17 take you to the historical center and Centrum area within minutes. Do not expect 5-star luxury.
