The property was clean with comfortable beds and had an air fryer! It was walking distance to great dining options, shops and the beach. I enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The property was in immaculate condtion looked newly renovated. Outside of all units was freshly painted. Beautiful view. Comfy bed. Office very welcoming and helpful. Downside would be steep entranceway which someone older like myself would not be walkable however with a car no problem. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

Property has been recently renovated. Our room had a nice view. Room is very clean. My only complaint was the knobs for the shower faucet is not very functional. It is not firm (ie. loose) and actually fell off. They are very old worn out knobs. I would think with the renovation, they would easily have updated the knobs.

The owner was very thorough with the check in process. She showed me to our room and went over all amenities. Also referred us to the many different restaurants. If you like Greek food Snickers is awesome and it’s just up the street from the motel.

Nice place not so nice experience
Room was nice price was decent. The lady running the place is high strung. Had an issue with the lock being sticky which the employee helped me with on one occasion, on the second night the lock came apart when I pulled the key out. Owner was adamant I pay for it.

Hello, GregoryOn Jan 24 2024 the lock built into our electronic door handle was broken when the guest attempted to get into their room. Unfortunately because the lock was in complete working order before and the one year warranty has expired we will be seeking compensation for the damages. Below explains the charges.Hornbill Fingerprint Smart Door Lock: 139.99 + tax156.80Service call for repair: 40.00Lost Room Sales: 149.50*3 day448.50Total: 645.30This is the total of the damages and lost room sales, but we will only be charging you 200 total.We offered a reduced damage charge of 200 but you denied to pay and checked out early at 4:00am the next day Jan 26 2024, today. We have tried to charge you credit card for the damages. which is in our right, but it declined. We have had guest damage property before and we understand your frustration but we feel we were being more than fair with the charge amount of 200 for the damage. We are unhappy because we can not have room sales in room #3 now until we get a new smart door lock and have it installed. We will not be accepting reservations from you in the future. An Excellent Place to Stay
I stayed overnight for a family gathering. The check-in and check-out were smooth and the motel staff very friendly. The location is excellent as it's near the ferry to Comox. The unit was very clean and comfortable.

Good renovations to an older motel. Thank you for the slippers, I forgot mine. I recommend adding black out curtains in the rooms, the lights from outside shone brightly all night long, almost bright enough to read a book by.

Close to ferry terminal and in downtown area with a number of restaurants and grocery store close by. Motel on a steep hill and although the room small it had a kitchen with fridge and microwave. Was very clean, quiet and staff was friendly.

Outdated but super clean add more than 2 shower towels. At least 3... Very nice checkin and friendly too. a bit high priced for what we get... nice view but cars block the view.

The hotel site is on the steep hilly on the main route of Sun Shine Coast, good view to the western, I am just worried about how the guest can handle the drive down to the street

The front desk lady was so pleasant and wonderful. Beautiful view of the ocean- with a bonus spectacular sunset on the evening I was there.Kitchenette Room was clean and had A/C that worked very well. Nice chairs outside the room so you can sit outside in the evening. Room had more than enough space for two people. However I was a solo female traveller and I felt very safe here. Kitchenette was missing cutlery and dish cloths but it looks like they have just done renos and maybe haven’t got there yet. It’s quite steep down to the street so if you have mobility issues you may have to take the car when you go out. Overall great place and I would stay here again.

Suite was very clean. Wifi didn't work and staff wasn't around to fix it. Fridge wasn't plugged in presumably to save money. I didn't notice till the morning. Check out was 11 but they kept visiting my room to see if I had left yet. Walked in on me taking a morning nap before a long drive. But it was cheap and clean. You get what you pay for.

Hello Shane, I'm so sorry but you didn't call us to ask about the Wi-Fi issue so if you had called us we would have been able to get the Wi-Fi issue sorted out for you. We have to unplug the fridges when we clean so the cleaners can clean them properly. We did not keep visiting your room to see if you had left yet. one of the workers had walked by the room and the curtains were open so they were able to look inside where they saw no items or people inside the room and we didn't get the key back so we just called you one time to ask if you had checked out yet around 10AM. We also did not walk in on you having a morning nap.Anyway we are sorry for the inconvenience.Best regards Westview Center Motel Team
