Had a wonderful time at this cottage. The amenities exceeded expectations. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed and more. Even firewood was provided. Plenty of life vests in sizes from infant to adult. Definitely recommend this cottage for anyone.
My friends and I wanted to do a little getaway since we hadn't seen each other in a while and this was the perfect place to do it! Beautiful views, especially from the hot tub! The perfect place to stay on a cold, winter weekend.
Great stay on the property, very clean and well maintained. Appreciated the extra little perks like smores kit and colorful fire packet. Had a great day golfing at nearby course. The fall colors were spectacular and the sunrises were wonderful to view from the comfort of the hot tub.
The cabin is charming and clean, and very roomy. We enjoyed the sunroom especially and that one of the bedrooms has a king. The kids LOVED all the games, nice touch!
Could use a few safety measures for seniors (bars in the bathroom and shower) and a few more kitchen basics (strainer, serving bowls).
The property was clean, cozy, and the view was great. It had included kayaks and paddle boat, and a lot of thoughtful amenities like board games, fast internet, and plenty of life vests. We didn’t use the hot tub during the stay, but it was warmed up and had a nice view.
This property doesn’t have central AC, but they do provide a very nice window unit that kept the living areas cool.
I would absolutely stay here again!
Everyone was happy with the place. We all had a wonderful time. Had the privacy we all were looking for. Small lake perfect for the paddle boat, canoes and kayakes they had to use. Hot tub was nice.not a lot of neighbors. Only thing I didn't really care for was dog that lived couple doors down keep coming over.
It was a wonderful, quiet, peaceful cabin on the lake. It was clean when we arrived and loved all the little extra touches. There was an issue with the hot tub and toiletries but the owner responded immediately and exceeded our expectations. Overall it was great.
I would recommend that a vacuum and some more cleaning supplies be available for cleaning up after ourselves.

10/10 would definitely recommend!
Our stay at the cottage was just amazing!! The weather was perfect, it wasn’t too hot or too cold and there was plenty for us to do without having to drive out anywhere. It is perfectly secluded and we weren’t bothered by anything or anyone. We definitely made use of the grill and the fire pit, along with the hot tub. The only downside which is no one’s fault is the amount of mosquitoes. Even then, that wasn’t enough to ruin our little vacay. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family. Our host also had magnificent response time and answered our questions very quickly. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!!
Great little home on the lake. Our family really enjoyed the firepit and hottub over Thanksgiving weekend. Our only call out/concern was one of the neighbors dogs kept coming to the property throughtout the day whenever it pleased it seems. Friendly dog but if your not a dog person or have one of your own with you it could cause issues. Not really the propertys fault but something to be prepared for. Otherwise the cabin had everything we needed!
We enjoyed our week. The hosts provided lots of lovely touches, including outdoor games, kayaks, a large fire pit area, complete with fixings for S’mores, a coffee pot with supplies, and an abundance of games. Our family especially enjoyed the sunroom that overlooked water. The lake was low, but loaded with lily pads that burst open each morning, dotting the view with pink flowers. We kayaked it and swam in the middle of it. The only issue was that the kitchen outlets were not working, but the host left a note letting us know they are aware of the issue and waiting on an electrician. We moved a table next to a working outlet in the living room to use the coffee pot and toaster. It was not a big deal for us.

Location is Ideal for ATVers and Sled heads.
The cabin is ideally situated on a road that will safely get you to trails. The location is also relatively quiet and peaceful to enjoy what nature in the area has to offer. The host also ensures that you will not be bored. Lots of yard games (bags, hillbilly golf, washers, horseshoes). Very nice large firepit and plenty of firewood. We had access to two grills (one charcoal, one small propane). The cabin has plenty of sleeping room and was clean upon arrival. We also had access to a row boat, canoe, and two nice kayaks. Lifejackets are also available. The lake isn't an angler's paradise, but you'll be able to catch some panfish to entertain your kids.I brought a family of four during the Labor Day weekend and it was not as busy as I expected it to be.If you are concerned about being disconnected from the world, the host provides Internet via Starlink. We had uninterrupted connectivity the entire stay.
If you're looking for a five-star hotel this is not it. If you're looking to get away and relax in a rustic environment with all the Comforts of home this is for you. The location is great. The lake was beautiful. The house had some issues but nothing major. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was peaceful and quiet. The fire pit was great. The hot tub was great. The lake was beautiful, especially in the morning sunrise when everything was coming to life. We had everything we needed and some things we weren't expecting. They provided coffee pods and filters and a little basket with things to make s'mores. Had everything we needed to cook/eat except the food. There was lawn golf and horseshoes and other activities. The Kayaks were perfect. Television Wi-Fi heat and air conditioning worked well. The bed we used was comfortable. There is so much I want to say about this property. We would definitely stay here again. We felt very at home.
The only real issues we found were that some of the windows were worn so they wouldn't stay open properly and the rear section of the house the electrical outlets didn't work but it was really no big deal. Be sure to bring all the food and beverage you want. There isn't a lot close by but that's exactly what we wanted. Not a lot close by. Also the hot tub had been shocked heavily so the chlorine was very strong on the first night but we added a little water and let it air out for a while and it was fine.
We booked this house as a last minute getaway and overall the cottage was nice for our family. The cottage was in a great location relative to the ATV trails. We would have loved to spend more time enjoying the outdoor amenities, but unfortunately the mosquitos were terrible. The provided games and Nintendo Wii came to our rescue! Every day of our stay a neighboring dog came to mark every tree and take care of of his business in the yard, which was very annoying for our dog. We would definitely stay here again, with a few changes. Recommendations have been given to the host for future guests.

A Winter Respite
We checked in for a winter weekend in March and had a wonderful stay. We weren't interested in much besides a comfortable place to get away for a couple of days, this cottage certainly fit the bill. A quiet and peaceful area, just right to get our old hound out to hang in the country.
It had all the amenities we could ask for, right down to the basket of smore ingredients. We will return in the summer to check out the lake, with no motors allowed it will remain quiet and peaceful, I am sure!!

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness
Not What We Were Hoping For
Our fist impression was the drive in through the neighborhood. It reminded us of a run down trailer park. Entry to the house was easy. Communication with the host was tough only because neither of us had cell reception. When texts went through, he was very responsive. Our biggest issue with the house was the cleanliness. The property as a whole just didn't meet our expectations based on its online representation.
Very cute cottage, with enough space for the 4 of us to have some privacy as needed, but lots of fun activities to do together. The beds were comfortable, rooms were a good size. We enjoyed the fire pit and the use of the kayaks, paddle boat and canoe--the lake is small, yet serene, and it was really nice to explore.
Bring your bug spray to ward off the mosquitoes and deer flies!
There were some nice amenities--k-cups, fixings for smores, bathroom had extra toothbrush/paste for those who may have forgotten as well as shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the shower. The smart TV could access most subscription services, so that was nice when we needed some down time.
A couple of things to note: When we arrived we had to take care of cleaning some things we thought probably should have been taken care of, including the dock that was covered with days old goose droppings. Part of the checkout process asks that we clean up. The cottage would benefit from a new broom, a light floor vac or pads for the swiffer in the closet. A couple of the trees in between the cottage and lake are dead and we had a large limb randomly fall while we were outside. This was quickly attended to by Ryan (he was super responsive and very nice), the guest contact, but those dead trees are a liability waiting to happen. Finally, this is not a fishing spot for anyone hoping to fish from the dock or on this lake. That may improve in the future when more fish are addd but not through the end of this summer.
