The TV wasn't working but they managed to sort it for our second night. Accommodation very compact but ok if you are only using it as somewhere to put your head down after a busy day exploring.

The rooms have no sound isolation at all. We could hear absolutely everything happening in the rooms next to us and the hall. Besides that, basic rooms, clean but old.

Small stuffy rooms with no A/C and the owner can't spring for even a moderate fan. The bathroom and shower are shared. The owner can't spring to even fix the shower head which becomes a factor when one is trying to be as quick as possible in a bathroom shared with guests from 5 other rooms. Spend 20 pounds and fix the shower at least.

Lovely place walking distance to the town centre. Clean and confortable. GBP5 for street parking nearby. Parking ont eh road was easy to find. If you are staying only for the night, there is free parking between 6pm and 8am

We were in room 16 in the converted cottage at the back and it had low standard of construction, no sound proofing, and a low standard of cleaning, particularly in the shower room. Staff were very unhelpful on checkout as they refused point blank to interact with us. Gobsmacking!
