The service provided at the hostel is outstanding in creating great comunity of travelers. I also appreciate kind of privacy provided at the dormitory by introduction of sleeping pods instead of just ordinary beds.

Very nice property…just outside of the busier areas of Porto so much quieter. Lovely garden area with hammocks, flameless candles, a bar, etc…and a very sassy cat! Good breakfast too. Everyone was very kind and everything was very clean

Had an amazing stay at this hostel! The rooms were clean and comfortable and everyone was so friendly, from staff to other guests. The garden is lovely as well, and the location is perfect! Highly recommend

Wonderful oasis in the heart of old-town Porto.
Gorgeous garden with hammocks and other comfy outdoor furniture; thoughtfully designed and comfortable bunks with good privacy, personal fans, outlets, lockers for luggage, etc. Good breakfast. Supremely helpful staff. Fantastic hostel experience!

Central location hostel with bed privacy curtains
Great location in Porto. Near Balhão metro which is easy to get to from the airport. Central Porto sites are all walkable. I stayed in a bed in the 8 bunk bed dorm with its own bathroom. Each bed has locker, electricity outlet, light and best of all privacy curtains. Staff at check in was great in providing map and orienting to the city and providing lots of recommendations. Was a relaxing place to return to after being out all day.

Five stars hostel
I like everything about this hostel. Big, bright, clean rooms, comfortable bed, central location, owner/managers and staffs are warm, friendly, thoughtful and super nice. One of the best hostels in the world.

Great hostel with so many extras
Great hostel with extras available every day. We had a chorizo night that was free and included wine, created a great atmosphere and chance to meet other guests of the hostel, especially handy if travelling on your own!

One of the best!
The hostel is convineintly located if you are coming from the airport. It's only 2 blocks away from Bolhao station & if you plan to go to anywhere else around Portugal, the bus station is close by. The staff are very friendly & courteous. The rooms & toilets are always clean. They have a good selection for breakfast, I particularly love the freshly squeezed orange juice in the morning! I highly recommend this hostel!

EXCELLENT STAY
I stayed here for 2 nights and this place is amazing! Once you enter this hostel, you´d be greeted by the most amazing and warmest host ever, Julian, who´s extremely enthusiastic and will introduce you to places to visit when you´re in Porto. It is strategically located in the city. Supermarket, restaurants, main shopping street Santa Catarina just next street, point of visit all within walking distance. It's located close to both metro station and walking distance to the main intercity bus terminal. I got the 6-bedded room, so it was extremely spacious and comfortable. The toilets were clean and modern. Breakfast was provided, cereal, bread, HAM AND CHEESE, coffee, milk and FRESHLY SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE! What else could I ask for! My next trip to Porto, this is where I´d be!

Sauberes Hostel mit tollem Garten
Das zur Stadt fußläufig gelegene Hostel macht einen sehr sauberen und gepflegten Eindruck. Die Badezimmer werden mehrfach am Tag gereinigt und die Gemeinschaftsräume sind immer ordentlich und aufgeräumt. Zusätzlich hat man die Möglichkeit, im wunderschönen Garten des Hostels zu sitzen und an der Bar etwas zu trinken. Das ist sehr gemütlich und preislich angemessen. Auch hat man einen Supermarkt und weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt um die Ecke. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Lediglich ein Bett direkt neben den Badezimmern ist unangenehm, da das Licht automatisch gesteuert wird und nicht alle Gäste die Badezimmertüren ordentlich schließen und man somit direkt vom Licht angestrahlt wird. Grundsätzlich ist es jedoch ein Hostel, in dem man sehr gut für einige Nächte übernachten kann. Empfehlenswert!

1ère expérience en Auberge de Jeunesse j'ai surtout retenu les points positifs, Julian le propriétaire est très avenant, à l'écoute et privilégie la communication avec sa Team qui l'est tout autant, lits en dortoir très cosys, très confortables en plus de petits rideaux ont été ajoutés pour favoriser l'intimité de chacun, petit déj continental très bien garni et excellent, Auberge propre très bien située tant au niveau des lieux d'intérêt, que des transports, des commerces. Cuisine commune parfaitement équipée avec tout le matériel et autre éléments nécessaires pour chacun mangeant au sein de l'Auberge.Possibilité de prendre apéritif sur place et d'en profiter tranquillement dans le jardin, servi très généreusement et à des prix imbattables. Personnel et propriétaire inclus très à l'écoute de vos moindres besoin, toujours dispos, et comme écrit sur le tableau d'expression, je ne me suis pas sentie simple cliente mais quasiment en famille. Je remercie toute la Team soit Anne, Aurea etc mais surtout et en grande partie Julian d'une prévenance et autres qualités indiscutables sans occulter sa maman, Linda, une femme positivement adorable, altruiste et grâce auxquels j'ai retrouvé la signification des mots partage, famille et positivisme.Donc si j'ai un lieu à vous recommander pour découvrir Porto, sa situation, allez à l'Urban Garden Hostel pour son confort, sa chaleur humaine. J'en profite pour embrasser très fort Linda et Julian.

The best hostel I’ve ever been. Perfect staying in porto with reasonable price. There are a bunch of shopping mall and restaurants nearby. Staffs were amazingly helpful. Definitely would stay again.

직원들이 정말 친절합니다! 조식이나 시설도 너무 좋았습니다. 다만 사진보다 침대도 생각보다 작고 화장실도 생각보다 작았습니다ㅠㅠ 그리고 나무 바닥이어서 그런지 움직일때마다 삐걱거림이 심해서 잠을 설쳤네요.

위치가 좀 언덕에 있어서 캐리어 끌고 가는 게 참 힘들었다는 점 빼고는 다 좋았어요 도미토리도 개별 커튼 다 있고 방이 엄청 넓어서 10인실이어도 넉넉해요 다만, 욕실 문 하나의 잠금 장치가 고장나있어서 그거는 좀 고쳐야할 듯 싶네요 ㅎㅎ 한국 분들이 많으셨어요~
