At other times and on Sundays and public holidays, parking is free.

This avenue is a prime location for attending city events and festivities. From here, one can easily experience the city's most varied and iconic places, streets, and spaces.

The bustling Rua de Santa Catarina is about a 5-minute walk away. A prime shopping area, it still houses the Majestic café, one of Porto's most emblematic Art Nouveau spaces. Ahead, Praça dos Poveiros offers typical, high-quality Porto cuisine: francesinhas, pork loin sandwiches, tripe, and more.

At the end of Avenida dos Aliados lies the beautiful São Bento Railway Station, where you can admire the tile panels that decorate it.
