This hotel is very modern and well located, walking distance to the beautiful Sao Bento train station and center, with beautiful shops and important monuments nearby. However, just beware that street noise can be overwhelming at night if light sleeper. Also, no real city views except ancient buildings across the street.

The staff is extremely friendly, particularly an attendant whose name is Micaela (breakfast), location is superb a walking distance from train station and on the heart fo the city. City attractions are near, so walking is a breeze (except when you go uphill!). The breakfast is a distintive quality, in a very nice room.

Porto Royal has one of the best location in the city. It’s beside the train station & walkable in all the attractions Porto has. The staff were all very helpful in all aspects. Breakfast has a wide variety for all tastes. We would certainly stay here next time!

The hotel is extremely well-located for many of the most well-known sights and also very near metro and the train station. Staff were helpful and accommodating and the buffet breakfast was quite good. The rooms are quite small but has everything we really needed, especially good air-conditioning during a heat wave!
