On the top floor you can enjoy a terrace with panoramic views of the city center. The apartment consists of 3 floors: Floor 1\. Are located 2 bedrooms with double beds and a full bathroom. 2nd floor. A large living room, a fully equipped kitchen and 1 toilet. Floor 3: A glass room with terrace. The housing is located on the street Santa Catarina, one of the most famous and cosmopolitan streets of Porto. The city center is nearby as well as metro stations, Trinidad and Marquis, the latter a 5 minute walk. A nice apartment for your stay in the center of Porto! Liaison with the owners (Sergio) went as planned and he explained the local area very well and gave tips as to the locale. There is road noise during the night in both bedrooms but this does not distract from the overall pleasantness of the apartment. Overall a very pleasant place to spend your break in Porto. Supermarket about 10 minute walk up the hill, a local cafe also at the top of the road. A few minutes walk from Metro station Marques and about 15 minutes to the hub at Trinidade Metro station. A walk from most places of interest in Porto which is a beautiful city with friendly people and a lively 'scene' on Cais de Ribiera on the riverside. I would not hesitate to stay at Sergio and Paula's lovely apartment again. ##### Mike J. The furniture and furnishings exuded a good sense of taste. The wall art in every room gave me a good feeling. The proprietor met us on arrival and showed us around. She also arranged for a cab to the airport at departure. Her place is an oasis in an odd, changing, neighborhood of plain front and some crumbling buildings with new construction all around. She was really nice and helpful. The apartment is perfectly located, just a 5 to 10 minutes walk from Porto's historical center. The apartment is nice and has a unique cachet, but needs a serious cleanup. Dust everywhere, dirty rugs in the bathroom, the bedroom and in the living room, sofa and cussions not inviting due to the lack of cleanliness, sticky kitchen cupboards, dirty plates. Most annoying detail : bugs under the kitchen sink and in the bathroom near the kitchen. It looks like the cleaning company is only doing the strick necessary between rentals. I can understand all the positive comments that appear in the guest comments book found in the dining room, but unless the points above are corrected, I would not recommend this apartment for now. Overall, this apartment has a lot of potential and Paula is a great host.
