It’s a great walk along the sea, bridges to cross and a lot to get lost on. This was one of the greatest tour my wife and I did. After using the facility, we noticed a nice outside patio that no one was using. We sat down and relaxed as we had already paid for our room. After a few minutes, we were told we had to leave. Well, the bedside lamp had a dodgy switch, but that was fixed immediately after I reported it, so they don’t lose marks for that. All the staff I dealt with were helpful and kind. The included breakfast was fine for a day or so, I imagine it would become repetitive over a long stay. The location was excellent, everything was walkable, there’s a big supermarket a few doors away…there had been previous reviews about noise from an adjacent nightclub, but I heard nothing. The rooms are clean and spacious, staff is very attentive. Weather permitting you can have breakfast on the rooftop terrace and have a nice view over Porto. There is some nightlife noise here, so opt for a room facing away from the street if possible. Breakfast was basic so we had our coffee in one of the many cafés in the neighborhood.
